We love getting ready photos, especially on film.

There’s something so fun about capturing the excited moments before someone gets married.

Jaimie and her gals saw the lads having their photos done with Jack outside, got all excited and started peeking out the window.

There’s always nerves, mixed with excited tummy flutters. So many people ask us about ‘bridezillas’ we think it’s a bu****it term.

A person is aloud to be a bit stressed on their wedding day no? They are aloud to want the day to be perfect, and people should try their best to accommodate that.

Perhaps we haven’t had any bad experiences, certainly not with Jaimie. It was all giggles and excited talk about the day to come.

Life has been a rollercoaster lately

Being self employed babes has changed our lives. We catch ourselves sitting on the sofa talking over coffee about our business.

Our business.

We work hard,we are still convinced we aren’t working hard enough but we guess that’s the fun in being self employed right?

Bleary eyed early mornings to late night drives home, excited conversations about the next wedding, weekend, month or year.

We truly love what we do. Taking time to reflect on what we have achieved is important, because it never really feels good enough does it?

Talks on the sofa with a coffee and the dog will always ground us. Make us feel gratitude for the things we have, and the excited for the things we are yet to achieve.

In the end, it’s these moments of reflection and gratitude that keep us grounded and motivated, reminding us why we started this journey and fueling our excitement for the future.

We recently had the pleasure to photograph at Factory Studios with the amazing

Factory Studios, just a stone’s throw from home, was our playground. Fun fact: Jack used to practice there back in his music days! We had a great time playing around with props that showcased Lucy’s style and confidence.

We started off with some headshots, then moved on to candid shots capturing Lucy’s infectious laughter and incredible vibes. Time flew by so fast, we could have stayed for hours!

We settled the film vs. digital debate by shooting with both. Film gave us a classy, timeless look perfect for Lucy’s vibe, all these above are film photos.

We fell in love with the warm glow of them all, film really does add something extra. We are obsessed.

Photographing Amy, Ben, and their dog Eddie in the forest was pure magic.

We captured their love story using our digital cameras, and our new Mamiya 645, on Kodak film.

The forest, with its lush greenery, made a perfect backdrop for their genuine connection.

Eddie, their goodest boy, added warmth and joy to every shot. He’s more than just a pet; he’s family. The way they doted on him showed their deep bond.

We really do love dogs, and we love photographing them with their humans.
