Wow!
4th July the day i took that leap, shut the door on the past and opened the doors to The Cabin!!

I can remember feeling so anxious and worried, not only because Covid was still around and restrictions were still in place but just the pure fear of being self employed and running my own business,
turned out to be the best decision I’ve made for me and my family!

Not going to lie I do find it hard especially with 2 children but I honestly wouldn’t have it any other way!

I would just like to say a massive thank you to everyone, your support means so much to me!
I’ve gone from strength to strength because of you guys!

I hope to continue to bring you amazing hair, laughter and a good cuppa!

A lot of you who have already been in this month would have already read this but I thought I’d put it on here so every can read.

So after today it’s time to turn my phone off and spend quality time with my little family so any messages of calls after today will not be replied to until 21st June.

I am available today if you need to sort anything.
Please just respect that everyone is aloud time off from their daily work life and I do have another life other than being a hairdresser. I’m also a mum and a partner and I really want to cherish this time I have off with my children so please please respect that the cabin is closed and I will not be open.

NEW FURNITURE FOR THE CABIN!

Woohoo! Why am I so excited about this 🤣

These are by far not cheap but I really felt like I needed to spend money on this for a better experience and support for you guys. Nothing worse than sitting for a few hours on a uncomfortable chair 😅

MAY/JUNE APPOINTMENTS

I will be taking a few Mondays off in may due to the bank holidays and I will also be having 2 WEEKS OFF starting from the 6th-21st June.. we also have another operation in the next couple of months for nala so I will have to change some appointments to accommodate that.

So…If you NEED to get in before hand I suggest you contact me asap I don’t have a lot of space due to getting everyone in before I’m away.

If you have your holidays pending and you will need your hair done please contact me sooner than usual.

Nice bit of face framing on a lovely young lady!

It really is so nice seeing all my clients which was once so tiny when I started doing there hair blossoming into teenagers 😂

They know what they want definitely! 😅

I am very lucky to have a clientele that have been long standing clients which I’ve gone on to do there children’s hair also recommended me to cousins, nieces, nephews,nans, grandads, uncles and aunts and so on….

I have a clientele which is based on word of mouth and even tho I am on social media my best press are my clients, they are my walking advert 😍

⭐️ NEW OPENING HOURS ⭐️

Saturday appointments will go very fast so please if you are wanting to have Saturdays I would advise you book for the year.
A lot of clients are booking all year round and if that is easier for you because you have a certain day off or a time preference please let me know and I will get you in.

FRIDAYS- are fully booked for the year due to my weekly blow dry clients.

Anyone who has contacted me about appointments I am hoping to sort them later today on my lunch break!

Hope everyone had a lovely Christmas and New Year and are settling back into normality ok.

Feel like I haven’t been on here much since I had nala, so I’m going to try and post more.

I’m pretty much full for January / February with a few appointments remaining. So please if your wanting an appointment get in touch as spaces are limited!

I will also be working more hours this year, which means I’ll have a lot more to offer!

Just to say I am FULLY BOOKED until January 2023.

I will be opening TWO Saturday mornings before CHRISTMAS if you would like to be put on the list for a Saturday please contact me as soon as you can to be put on the list.
No changes to outstanding appointments that are already booked for new bookings only.

If clients cancel from now until end of December I can not promise I will be able to get you back in. I am working a lot more as the weeks work up to Christmas so limited to changes.

At least 24hrs cancellation notice or a fee will be processed.

I just wanted to pop and say Thankyou to everyone who has not only supported me and my business but also to those who have been understanding with my work situation.
I was hoping to come back for another day from October but I just can’t at the moment for many factors. I’m hoping from the new year it changes.

Been crazy busy in the cabin since I started back with that doesn’t seem to be changing for the rest of this year.

I don’t have much now before October so if you need to get in soon i would highly recommend you book your appointments. I will not be adding any more days this side of Christmas.

Please let me know if you would like your hair done but struggling with childcare to get your hair done within these days. I will make try and accommodate mama’s that are struggling as I know how important it is to have you time and feel human. 😉 I got your back! 💪🏻

Hope everyone is doing ok.. just thought I’d check in. This was a week ago when she was in the salon with me..

Just to say I’m starting. To book my regulars in now for Christmas as I am only working limited days they will go very very fast. So when your in having your hair done let me know if you would like to book for the rest of the year.. 😉

I’m running at full capacity at the moment and I can’t move or add any appointments until the 24th august. Unfortunately if you cancel I won’t be able to do anything until that date onwards..

I am not working any other days at the moment as I am still on maternity but I know a lot of you are really wanting your hair done, so I’ve decided to do a couple days to get you all in looking fab for holidays etc!

Cancellations needs 48hr notice prior to your appointment.

I am so busy with clients so if you do want an appointment please get in quick as it’s limited and once they are gone there gone!
I am putting 4 days of clients into 1 1/2 days so please be patient.

Nala still isn’t well and is still being seen at hospital so she has appointments to go to which I have to be there for so pled understand why I am only doing these hours.

I can’t wait to see you all and have a catch up!

I was honoured to be able to do my friends wedding hair for her big day along with the bridesmaids and flower girls.
I wasn’t going to stop doing it because I was on maternity leave. This wedding date has changed so many times in the last 3 years I’m glad she got to a bride in the end 😅.

Hello everyone,

Thought I’d pop on and check in!

Nala is 5 weeks today!! How quick has that time gone!

Some of you have been asking when I’m back and I haven’t replied.. I feel rude not replying to you all but I generally haven’t got the answer.
I want to come back with a plan and I just don’t have it yet, I suppose it’s still early days for me.
When I closed the cabin to go On Maternity I was excited with what was to come but truth is it’s not been great,apart from the birth which was very very FAST! (Knew it would be)😂 but I actually had covid which the experience of having a new born I felt was taken from me. Leaving me feeling that I haven’t bonded with Nala like I should of, it’s been a battle in my head for all this time. Which Im trying to deal with, but
Also nala hasn’t been breathing normally since birth which we are now under the children’s hospital for.
We just don’t sleep.. and having Oakley to sort and take to school I’ve felt a huge pressure.

Why am I telling you guys this.. well I’ve always said I want to be honest with owning my own business as I am only human and I can only do so much,
But I also wanted to tell you guys as your asking how we all are and I don’t want to lie, it’s tough.

So the answer as to when I’m coming back I just don’t know. I still have July in my head but I need to make sure I’m in the best mindset and Nala is healthy and happy.

To those who have so kindly gifted us clothes, vouchers and money Thankyou so much! Your all so kind to me and my family
