Coelogyne rhabdobulbon. An orchid species from Borneo and Peninsula Malaysia. Very rare in cultivation. A few plants exist in private cultivation globally and this species is poorly represented in botanical institutions as a living plant. This species is found in lowland forests growing on tree trunks not that high up. Seems to be more frequently seen in Sabah, Borneo.
I may have a division available later in 2023. Message if interested.
Coelogyne squamulosa.
A genuinely rare species orchid from Borneo and most closely related to Coelogyne odoardi. Only a couple of people have this species in cultivation in Europe. This species distribution is isolated to just a few mountains. My plant originates from a collection by Leiden on Sarawak's Mount Penrissen where it is now extinct due to habitat loss.
Beautiful ❤️
A note for our customers.
We won't send orders at the moment until the weather warms up. We require three consecutive nights of temperatures above three degrees before sending plants.
Dendrobium christyanum. Back in 2013, I remember selling this particular clone, the long cane, white hair form of Dendrobium christyanum as Dendrobium fuerstenbergianum. This is now considered a synonym.
Plants are much better grown on a mount. The fragrance is elegant and stronger in warmer temperatures.
Coelogyne longirachis. A genuinely rare species from the Philippines. The colour varies but this one is definitely my favourite. Should have two plants available in 2023 so get in quick to reserve one.
