This elegant Nepoleon III arm chair is covered in linen, hand printed with the design 'Ode to Ash' by Cameron Short and responds to the plight of Britain's 'venus of woods'.

Some details from a 19th century Shell Chair.

A bit of fun today working on this half chair, trying out some new techniques. Getting ready for this Sunday whoop.

A sample squab inspired cushion I have been working on. Packed out with alpaca 🦙 it's very soft and has a lovely bounce to it.

This elegant Victorian iron back is part of an exciting new commission for in collaboration with . Traditional upholstered up to the first stuffing using re-teased antique horse hair, Hessian and linen scrim. This project is very much a celebration of the hidden world of traditional upholstery, showcasing the intricate stitch work and sculpting under the covers. The perfect commission!

After stripping down a couple of layers of fabric and crumbling foam it was a delight to find a traditionally upholstered pad in good shape. The traditional pad was stabilised and a new stuffing added. Covered in the beautiful tweed honey.

Informed by a love of orange it was great to see this window seat installed in it's very stylish home. Foam alternatives have been used with a rubberised hair back and ultraflex cushions. Finished in the chic classic herringbone in Marmalade.

Very much inspired by .butt talk both these cushions are made using foam alternatives. Covered in 'Bird Garden' by Mark Hearld, the red cushion is filled with rubberised hair and wool and stitched in the style of a traditional squab. The blue cushion covered in and filled with Ultraflex, a foam alternative made out of recycled polyester.
