Thank you SO much for your support last week - we were full most of the week which was brilliant as we work so much better when the Centre is thriving.

Looking forward to seeing you again this week - there's room for new families. Please do spread the work as you did so fantastically last week... Your chance to get some serious play time in the diary before we close for the summer hols (our last day will be Friday 19th July). Especially as the weather forecast for this week looks rubbish!

If you are leaving us this summer because your child is graduating. don't forget to take a photo in our 'graduation corner' and post it on your social media, tagging us. Please don't leave us altogether - you are more than welcome to use the Inns Court Community Cafe whenever you want.

**We really need your support...**

We, at Boing! Inns Court, are at our best when we are full and busy. Not only does this create a vibrant atmosphere, but we know that there's enough income to cover what we are spending.

For a not-for-profit organisation like us that's vitally important. It enables us to keep running Boing! Inns Court and the Inns Court Community & Family Centre and improve them.

It helps us support families of 0-5 year olds in the local community which is what we are here to do.

Unfortunately, over the past couple of weeks, numbers have been very low. We totally understand that families would rather go to the park or somewhere else outside in the sunshine - we would do exactly the same! And we have not been idle - we have used the 'extra' time wisely, making improvements and tidying and sorting areas in the Centre such as the back garden.

• Well, the weather forecast for the next couple of weeks is much cooler, rainy and windy - we hope to see lots of you return to us before we break for the summer on Friday 19th July - that's just 3 weeks away. What a beautiful day! We know that we are competing with the weather today but 'if you can't beat them, join them': we have brought the beach to Boing! Inns Court!! (Well, sort of...!)

You may be aware that there's an General Election coming up shortly!!

Please, please do vote - it's your decision HOW you vote but please do make your choice (even if it's to scribble on the ballot paper, 'I don't know').

It's really vital for everyone that the voter turnout numbers are higher than ever. Here's some important information about the voting process:

• To vote in the forthcoming election, you must register by 11:59pm on Tuesday 18 June 2024 (see https://www.gov.uk/register-to-vote )
• If you want to apply online for a postal vote
( https://www.gov.uk/apply-postal-vote ), you must apply by 5pm on Wednesday 19 June 2024 (but you have to first actually register to vote). Postal voting means that you can cast your vote or your opinion on the process beforehand and you won't need to visit your Polling Station on the 4th July.

If you need any support with this process (or need to ask any questions) please come in and see us. Likewise if you need to use our computer to sign up.

Several people have suggested the idea of Boing! Loyalty Cards. It's something we have been considering for a while and then we found a stash of stored cards from the past (long, long story!) to use as a pilot.

So from today we are trialling these cards at Boing! Inns Court - forgive the rough and readiness of them! Please ask staff for further details and let us know what we can do to improve them.
