⭐️A REQUEST⭐️
Sunday packing. Getting ahead on the 5kg pulses and grains.
We’re working flat out to fill bags and make up orders. We’re no where near catching up. But we’re working extraordinarily long hours to do just that.
And that’s all fine. We will catch up, crops will be planted and harvested, the agricultural year will roll on and we’ll come out the other side of these dark times.
But we do have a request. We’re packing up some very special pulses, seeds and grains grown by amazing farmers. Often these crops represent years of development work too. If you’re buying them just in case (who isn’t, we get that) please do make sure you eat them. It would break our hearts to think of them languishing in cupboards and larders uneaten and losing condition. We have loads of great recipes on our website, we also sell some wonderful books by the likes of .hemsley please do use this time to fall in love with pulses. .
Is there a recipe you could imagine eating every day??
Man eats same magical lentil soup for lunch every day for 17 years [Updated] Update, March 10, 2020: Crescent Dragonwagon herself has a message for all of us:
We're very sad to announce that we have decided to postpone the festival until later in the year, that includes both the Dal Trail and the St Nick's Night Market event.
In the mean time we will continue to share updates and recipes from brilliant chefs & eateries.
In the mean time, please look after each other and eat plenty of dal! 💕
