Kate’s garden in full bloom, excellent digitalis this year!

A client wanted a wildflower meadow in their front garden, it’s taken 3 years to achieve from scratch with a mix of annual and perennial seeds, plugs and lots of weeding but super happy with the results this year! Happy pollinators! 🐝

I’ve been so busy I haven’t updated any of my work recently. Here’s the first stage of a redesign…. A big clearance to reveal the space. Exciting plans to come, with a pollinator flower bed, fruits trees, Acres, raised veg beds and more! Watch this space! 💪❤️🐝

Joint project with the super talented Barry Pickles, who made this amazing bin store for me to plant up. Perfect for a sunny spot with lots of lovely Alpines and Sedums. Super happy with the result! 😊

Finally a beautiful day for pruning! ☀️ I had lovely time rejuvenating an old climbing Rose 🌹 ❤️

More progress at the Cadbury pub today, working with the wonderful Kober Gardening. Continuing our development of the beds by clearing, coppicing the hazel and planting some gorgeous perennials and refreshed some winter/spring troughs to brighten the day! More photos to follow….

The very last area to be completed at Kate’s. Focus on calming greens and muted tones…an area for calm and reflection. Hydrangea “Little Spooky”, evergreen Ferns, Skimmia and Mahonia…. And Ofcourse a delightful little pond in a pot. X

Finished tropical cottage. Absolutely loving the different textures! X

Some late flowering additions, Heleniums and Nepeta and refreshed pots for autumn flowers!

One year on from being freshly planted. Definitely filling out! Todays job was adding an evergreen climber against the brand new fence and planting tall grasses to soften and add texture and height. Can’t wait to see the development next year!! 🤩

First planting phase of a tropical cottage garden! Mixing classic tropical planting and traditional English roses and climbers. Frame work in, now to add the final touches. Creating a tropical haven! 🌴 🌹🌾

Dianthus carthusianorum, lush meadow dianthus that flowers all summer. Brightens up a wildflower patch! 🌸

Aphrodite Rose, planted last year. Brilliant disease resistance and absolutely gorgeous! 🌹❤️🌹

Finished the main bed with the most gorgeous crab apple, hebe’s and lush perennials. A general tidy up and shuffle….Very happy with the results. Now to watch it all grow!

It’s been far too long of posting any of my work! On that note…. Here are a few before and afters on what will be a whole garden revamp. Starting on the shady courtyard… some fresh paint, gorgeous shade loving plants and new pots to complete the look. Happy with the result and more to follow! 🌿🪴🌸

A nice small front garden design. The brief was very low maintenance. Bright Heucheras for a splash of colour, Lavender for the bees and Hydrangea "Bluebird" for stunning ice blue flowers in summer, that loves a bit of shade!
