We love this new front door with sidelight that the team recently finished installing for our customer in Bristol. The homeowners opted for a Field Mouse finish on the door and frame, partnered with Black door ironmongery.

Mrs Parratt took advantage of the ability to merge new with old when choosing her doors, “we had the original stained glass encapsulated into the new door glazing panels” she describes and also made use of the dual colour option, commenting “we chose to have a stained finish internally to match our interior décor, and a painted finish externally.”

A lovely cottage in the Somerset countryside owned by Miss Gulliford has been restored to its traditional roots thanks to the range at Timber Windows.

Miss Gulliford comments: “the old windows were in for at least 30 years and they weren’t sash windows. This cottage is perfect for sash windows so we were keen to have these installed”.

“They were also in such poor condition, you could even push your finger through some of the old timber!”

In Bristol, this lovely new Staverton front door has recently been fitted for our customers. It's finished in “French Grey” with ‘Queen Anne’ leaded glass and accompanied with Black door furniture.

This family opted to change the style of the windows and doors completely to let more light in and take advantage of the views that were previously quite obscured.

A selection of slim hidden spring sash windows, flush casements and French doors now have a much simpler look with paired back, elegant glazing bars all finished in the shade of ‘Porcelain’. The new front door is a custom design in a contrasting shade of ‘London Grey’ featuring the house name, etched into sandblasted glass.

At this home sash windows were installed, contributing to the unique appearance of the house. Finished in a ‘Light Oak’ stain, the new windows are manufactured in Engineered European Oak with guarantees to last for years to come. The windows are accompanied with Antique Pewter hook fasteners, sash lifts and limit stops.

This 1950’s five-bedroom property has been renovated and extended by current owners, Mr & Mrs Guerin.

“We planned every single aspect of this project meticulously. We had to move out for 6 months, so the entire house could be gutted and rebuilt”.

Originally in situ were original, single glazed windows that did a poor job of retaining heat and blocking out noise from the outside. With both a desire to drastically change the style of windows as well as research into what would look appropriate for the home, the Aikens used Photoshop as a tool for experimenting with different styles and finishes until they found their perfect solution.
