If you are able to help please message me and I can arrange to pick items up or give you my address to drop them off. As of Tuesday (5th) I will have placed a large box in reception at UWE Glenside and 1 in the SU too, so please feel free to drop items into the boxes if its easier.

Thank you in advance 💜

Cariad Medic 27/01/2019

A local specialist paramedic team called Cariad Medic are crowdfunding for their upcoming expedition to rural Nepal.

"In Britain we have some of the most advanced training in emergency medicine but these skills are not always passed onto healthcare workers in less developed countries. This volunteer project aims to change that.
In 2016 and 2018 the emergency medicine teaching course was delivered by our paramedics in Nepal with huge success. We are in need of funding for our next project starting in 2019, which aims to expand on this with a bigger team reaching more students in more locations. The project is in partnership with rural colleges in Jiri, Bhakpur, Sindhuli and Charikot where we plan to take equipment that can be left for continued local training."
