Great to see the Lollipop Be-Bop turned on in ‘Pink’ this week. This was to signify Organ Donation Week. We are so pleased that Wallace & Gromit's Grand Appeal can use the new dynamic colour lighting to signify so many important events and dates throughout the year. 🙏🏻

International Day of Disability 💜

NBT’s Disabled and Neurodiverse Staff Network Chairs and champions have lit up the Willow Tree purple for tomorrow’s International Day of Disabled People.

You can visit the wonderful lights in our Women & Children’s quarter until Wednesday.

To show support for International Day of Disabled People, we encourage everyone to wear purple, which is this year’s colour to mark the day.

We are extremely pleased to see that the children are getting so much enjoyment from the new hoop lighting. It’s lovely to get so much great feedback.

Jonah spends lots of his time in Bristol Royal Hospital for Children due to a rare and complex health condition. 💙 When we lit the Lollipop Be-Bop sculpture back up for the first time in years, Jonah was overjoyed. 🤩

Your donations made this renovation possible and helps us bring a little light and colour to all the courageous children in Bristol Children’s Hospital.

Samantha, Jonah’s mum said: “this is my son, Jonah. We spend a lot of time in Bristol Children's hospital as he has a rare complex medical condition. We thought you might like this photo of him under ‘The Hoops’. He was so excited to see them lit up. We actually call the hospital ‘The Hoops’!”

We are delighted to share this news and to celebrate the 20 year anniversary of the Lollipop Be-Bop lighting upgrade.

Working with Electrio Ltd, Connected Light were invited to re-design the lighting for the iconic Bristol hoops at Bristol Royal Hospital for Children.

The hoops have been out of action for almost 20 years but tonight was the big switch on for the new LED colour wash lighting supported by the team at Wallace & Gromit's Grand Appeal

Casambi wireless controls were included in the design to allow full control of each individual hoop, providing an endless array of light shows to choose from.

An internal control panel has also been restored for the children to use and interact with the hoops.

It has been a great pleasure to be involved with this iconic local project.

It means a lot to share this to help show the significance and help support the families who have been affected with the loss of a baby.💙💜

The worlds first Amazement Park has just opened its doors, right here in Bristol.

Wake The Tiger is a total immersive experience into the world of Meridia which has all been built from recyclable material by a team of extremely talented artists and creators.

It was a pleasure to be involved with this latest project, right here in our own town, to design and coordinate the Emergency Lighting System and an element of wireless control throughout the maze of amazement. Working with Integrated Contracting Services Ltd it’s probably one of the most challenging but most enjoyable projects to date.

The chosen solution was by far the best choice, using a fully wireless Bluetooth monitoring solution. The automated Surepath System from Emergency Lighting Products Limited will continue to assist the WTT maintenance team, with a cost effective and reduced energy solution to ensure their compliance is maintained at all times, without compromising the fantastic effects illustrated within the amazement park.

Casambi were also used and implemented for various elements where manual control was not possible. Bluetooth wireless switching has assisted the overall lighting management, making it far easier to operate and will continue to save time for the on-site team.

A fantastic project reaches the completion of phase 1 at Thornbury Castle

An exquisite range of period chandeliers, bespoke internal and external luminaires have created an incredible reconstruction of the original castle.

Working alongside Electrio Ltd , their team have delivered an exceptionally high standard of work, illustrating the ability of full Bluetooth controls for general and emergency lighting within each space.

A full complement of products from the wireless ecosystem range by Casambi has been used for all areas which proves its full capability with the challenges faced in listed buildings

Time based scenes, automated switching and wireless manual wall control are just some of the methods used within the Castle.
