A weekend of total Harbour Festival fun from 19-21st July 2024. This culturally diverse city festival takes place around the harbourside in Bristol.
The annual dance, music and arts extravaganza will be returning to Bristol’s Harbourside with a ton of family activities, circus performers, delicious food stalls, visiting vessels and some mega live music across all the stages on Bristol’s waterfront. The festival takes place on the 15 - 16 July

Celebrating 40 years on the harbour, Thekla once again proved why they are one of the best in the business🚢
With three dynamic performance areas, Thekla delivered immaculate vibes all weekend long! From their legendary top-deck silent disco 🎧🕺, to the vibrant Thekla Cargo Stage and Thekla Dock Stage 🎶, they showcased an array of grassroots sounds, cementing Bristol's reputation as the hub of top talent in the UK 🌟
A massive thank you to everyone who joined the celebration and made it unforgettable! 🙌🎊
The heart of the Harbour Festival will always be the floating harbour, and I think we can all agree that the On The Water spectacle was an absolute SPLASH 💦

A new addition to the Bristol Harbour Festival and we loved it!
Not only did it kick off with a superb silent disco on Friday night with Disco Neurotico, but we saw some inspiring talks from our panellists as well as some beautiful, funny and moving poetry and spoken word curated by Rebecca Tantony and some sensational jazz and blues from Jelli Records 🎷🎺
Whether you were on stage or in the crowds, thank you for swinging (and dancing) by 🙏

Everyone turned 👏it 👏 out! BIG thanks to Global Local and Greenpeace UK for programming such epic nights, as well as the local legends who took over the stage for Sunday’s Made In Bristol showcase.
Bhangra All Stars Band , Bloco B, The Beatles Dub Club, Eva Lazarus, Grove, Gabriel Templar, Imprints and so many more!
You really can’t beat the sight of thousands of people with their hands in the air, getting down and funky as the sun starts to come out.

We were head over heels watching the mind-bending scenes at Family Playground on College Green… and so were the performers 👀
From presenting world-class circus performers and contortionists, to pirates and puppet workshops and ’ iconic foam p-arrrgh-ties, the vibes were absolutely IMMACULATE! ✨🎪
Watching the fun and silliness unfold was incredible 🤩 A massive thank you to everyone who came down and got involved. You made it unforgettable 🙌🎊
Harbour Festival may be over for another year, but in true Bristol style, the next celebration is just around the corner.... 🤩
Old City Sounds is taking over venues across Bristol’s old city next month, for a day long celebration of live music on Saturday 24th August! Old Duke Jazz Festival brings swing, blues and more to King Street, while artists from near and far take over venues on Welsh Back, St Nicholas Street, St Stephens, Corn Street and Avenue Street. 🎷🙌

Queen Square was home to the Dance Tent, which gave us endless energy, dazzling sparkles and beats that kept us dancing all night long 🌟💃🪭🪩🩰
Mega thanks to and for programming such an amazing and diverse line-up of dance groups and troupes across the weekend, for the South West Soundsystem for bringing non-stop anthems, and to for the next-level, pure and unfiltered takeover. It was 🔥🔥🔥

We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again, Bristol is ALWAYS a good idea…but this weekend took it up a notch. To showcase our incredible homegrown talent as well as bringing some festival favourites from further afield to our stages has been truly phenomenal.

Coffee Club on Hanover Place is also joining in on the festival transformation. Enjoy some chill acoustic artists and hot brews on Saturday and Sunday mornings, and jam to some DJ sessions with a bustling bar in the afternoons

Starting the weekend with a (silent) bang are Disco Neurotico, bringing their three-channel silent disco to Millennium Square🤩
From dirty basslines, garage, techno and drum and bass on one channel, to funk, disco, afrobeats and hip hop on another🎧
They will also have a third channel of ambient noises for party-goers with neurodivergent sensitivities, prepare for a night of good tunes and good vibes!

Bristol Harbour Festival is a 3 day extravaganza of dance, music, theatre, circus, ships and boats, arts and delicious food. The harbour is alive throughout the weekend with entertainment at every turn and last year the festival attracted 250,000 visitors.
