LAUGHTER YOGA and MOSAICS.... what a wonderful week I'm having. Finally started teaching a series of FREE Laughter Yoga classes which will be continuing over the next couple of months for friends, and friends of friends. Of course I was having so much fun I forgot to take a photo, so I an resharing a picture of me sharing a laugh with fabulous Natalia and Sam from and Nick Terrific when we were earlier this summer.

Sharing an hour of laughter yoga yesterday with , and Gosia was pure delight, and I am still feeling the benefits a day later. My energy is higher, my outlook on life is better, I feel great! I'm calling my workshops "Get the Giggles". If you'd like to join in let me know!

I used the extra energy created by laughing to go outside and do another step of my garden mosaic. 2 down, 1 to go and I am determined to get it finished before winter sets in again! I just need one more sunny day please!

Crazy to think I've been DJing for 10 years now! After mostly playing festivals and parties for friends/ word of mouth for the past 9 years, this last year I have been branching out into the world of private parties, weddings, birthdays and events for people I do not know personally and it has been so much fun!

I love creating special sets for themed parties, fulfilling musical challenges and seeking out new music to spin together the best parties, leaving lifelong memories for my clients.

GLASTO DJ SET TIME CHANGE..... Fri night at the Tow n Hitch is a 3am start, but if you do venture up there at 2am you'll have time to grab a drink before I start!

It's pretty exciting. This is not even only the third time I've played in the Tow 'n Hitch crew bar ..... I've lost count! But think I've played a set in there every year since it opened (apart from last year because we didn't go!).

I love this bar, I even worked ON the bar one Glasto. Best team, excited to be back.

Last time, in 2022, I was definitely put to the test by Ben, being programmed to play straight after the one n only dnb guru ..... and aside for a teeny technical issue at the beginning, I had a fantastic time switching it up to sexy warm global beats.

And this year I'm back with an even more exciting set! Crew across site welcome, come have a dance with me at 3AM (changed from 2am as previously published) Fri night/ Sat morning. Can't wait to be back in a field with you all.

GLASTONBURY FESTIVAL 2024... My DJ set times are in!

Friday night (early Saturday morning) at 2am I will be heading up to play in the fabulous Tow 'n Hitch Bar once again.... Expect a new high energy global beats set.

And Sunday night (early Monday morning) at midnight I will be playing for the first time ever in The Open Arms Bar across from Greenpeace Field with some more global beats because I love it!

CENTRAL ITALY..... stunning.... yay for working holidays!

MIKE WRIGHT, FLYING TRAPEZE LEGEND.... it's taken me days to figure out what to say that is worthy of such a wonderful man. The outpouring of grief and messages from the community fills my timeline, and every story fills me with love, joy, and sadness.

I saw Mike on Friday.... as I was rushing to the post office. I realised too late, and he was almost gone from sight. For once, I chose not to chase after him to say hi. I'd see him again soon I told myself....

My Mike story, because I have loved reading everyone else's this week.... flying trapeze was my first circus love, way back in fashion college 2001 I started flying in Byron Bay with Steen Shoar and Holly and Li . I then trained with on the Gold Coast. When I met Mike after moving to Bristol, we spoke about flying and he asked me- did you train with Rodleigh? They knew each other from Sth Africa, and flew together in Ringling Barnham and Baileys Greatest Show on Earth! Then a few years later we had Samuel Jornot aerial director for early shows come and teach us in Bristol, and he flew with Mike and Rodleigh too!

The last time I hung out with Mike, he said something very sweet to me- that I had changed what silks was like in the UK when I moved here, because my work was more dynamic than most of the silks stuff that was happening in the UK at that time. I never realised of course, and whether it was true or not (cue all the naysayers commenting 😆), it made me feel like my contribution was worth something, and that is basically what Mike did- he held people up... everyone who was lucky enough to know him. Thank you for being that person Mike, generous, kind and a total circus pioneer to the end.

The pictures I share are: my daughter age 3 on the flying rig in Byron, a cpl shots of Mike's rig including Lisa basing Jamie in hand to hand, and some never seen pictures of the pirate show I helped on.

May we all be more like Mike, RIP flying superstar.
