So, just how do you get rid of it? Forget shop bought chemicals. Try an eco friendly solution. ▶️ Soak a paper towel in the vinegar. Wrap around the fixture. Leave for an hour. Wipe down. ▶️ Cut a lemon in half, squeeze and juice it. "Screw" the halves onto the tap spout. Soak a paper towel in the lemon juice. Wrap around the fixture. Leave for an hour. Wipe down. ▶️ Make a solution of 1 part water, 3 parts baking soda. Apply to the fixture. Leave for an hour. Wipe down. ▶️ For clogged shower heads, remove the head. Soak in a plastic container of white vinegar for an hour. Remove. Rinse in cool water. For more stubborn limescale build ups, you will need something more acidic, pickling vinegar or a lime will do it. #Bristol #Plumber #Tips

Turn the tap as tight as it will go to stop the drip. ❌ Not the best idea as it is bad for the tap washer. It wears more quickly because of the increased pressure every time it is turned to tight. ✔️ Avoid this by turning the tap until you feel the natural stopping point, don’t force it closed.
