PERCH IS OPEN…
After 3 years we have put some seating back into the deli!
You asked and we have given it back ❤️
In a slightly different format to before, ‘Perch’ (as we have nicknamed it) is for customers to use to enjoy any takeaway food from the deli, grab a coffee and use the loo.
Think of it as an extension of the outside spots, we wanted to allow our lovely customers to enjoy the deli vibes for longer and so now you can listen to our turns and enjoy our delicious food and drinks!
We also have a lovely bakery cart with fresh baked goods, as well as other deli treats.
Help yourself by bagging up and purchasing at the deli counters at the front.
This has very much been a team effort, we have sanded, varnished and painted the back. Whilst being open 7 days a week and continuing to create delisiocus dishes and a brilliant atmosphere.
This is very much new to a lot of the staff and so please be patient and supportive whilst we work through what works and what we need to change.

On a personal level, i want to take this opportunity to thank my hard working wonderful team, as well as all of our lovely customers who have been so patient in waiting for this to happen.
The Deli really is a very special place and we look forward to welcoming you in to experience it :)

You may have noticed a lot of bustling and moving around at the back of the shop.
Firstly- thanks for your patience, it’s been slightly chaotic taking down shelves and moving out fridges etc. so thanks for coping with this!
Secondly- You asked (some pleaded, you know who you are)
DRUM ROLL PLEASE…
WE ARE BRINGING BACK SEATING!
Now it is going to be a slightly different set up to the cafe, but we are creating a space that allows us to extend the takeaway/ outside seating offering, whilst making it work for the team and for the deli.
We are also bringing back the customer loo!
The idea being that we get so much positive customer feedback about our wonderful team and the excellent customer service they give to every single person walking through that door.
That we wanted to extend that to a buzzy little perching spot at the back of the deli, think plants, think great tunes, local art work and ALL of the delicious deli goods, but SEATED!
The team here have nicknamed it PERCH, coming spring 2024!!!!
