It's that time of year again where we look back on the year! Welcome to the Wylde Year in Review: 2023! What a year it's been - we're so grateful for the projects we've been involved in and for all the continued support from our colleagues, project partners, clients, suppliers and beyond. We've completed refurbishments, fit-outs, concepts and begun new phases of existing projects whilst still making time to host events and seminars, attend several social and networking events and even got a few getaways in there too. Well, why not? As workplace consultants and experts in designing workplaces that embrace the hybrid work model we practice what we preach by utilising the very best strategies to work effectively and allow for time to recharge and relax. We're thrilled to have been working with The National Trust over the last year to rejuvenate their head office - Heelis. We've particularly enjoyed being able to work with their incredible photography library! Wylde have introduced the stunning imagery and artwork into the scheme working with our partners and client team to integrate the National Trust identity into every aspect of this scheme - some of which you can glimpse in this in this little office tour snippet! Before & After: Methuen Park Here's a transformation! Wylde recently completed this common parts scheme for Methuen Park in Chippenham. This project included refurbishing the front of house lobby area and atrium along with the WCs and other common circulation areas. We opened up the reception area space with biolphillic elements and timber slat walls. The whole scheme invites users into the space whilst maintaining a professional and sleek aesthetic. Old Court Lounge : The Before & After
Check out the Before & After of our transformation at the University of Bristol Old Court Lounge is based in Wills Hall of Residence. A historic building from the 1920s that has an Arts and Crafts feel, with wood paneling in rooms and corridors, that was built by the Wills family. The new scheme was in memory of one of the Alumni students sponsored by their family and needed to retain the historic feel and grandeur of the building, whilst introducing contemporary fittings to bring it up to date. The final scheme is rich and sumptuous, combining rich colours, fabrics fittings and finishes to complement and blend with the wooden paneling. We took Kingston Barnes' priorities and ambitions to inform our design process. Working closely with the client Wylde Director Amy created the designs that were then taken on to transform a 322 year old grade || listed building into a modern, fun and inspiring environment! The pandemic dramatically changed the way we work and as a response companies are having to reassess their work practices to accommodate these shifts. It's been a long time coming and we are welcoming the chance for workplace culture and workplace designs to adapt.
