When is the best time to take my pool cover off?
Here is the quick version:
SOLAR pool covers should be left on as much as possible. Other pool covers should be taken off during the day so the water is able to absorb the heat form the sun, this will also minimise sun damage to the exterior surface of the pool cover.
If you’re not planning on using your pool for some time the pool cover should be closed. For obvious safety reasons, the cover should be closed at night to prevent any accidents but to help retain the heat gathered throughout the day.

Step 2: Pool Design stage takes approximately 2-4 weeks
Step 3: Planning (if required) typically takes 4 – 12 weeks
Step 4: Ordering/delivery of your pool takes 4 – 8 weeks
Step 5: Ground preparation/construction for one-piece pools takes 4-8 weeks however a tiled bespoke pool will usually take 12-16 weeks.
Step 6: Decking/paving, and surrounding landscaping timescales are difficult to determine without knowing the extent of your scheme.

The most popular is our automated security cover which is a secure load-bearing cover that provides a full seal on the pool, security covers are an excellent option. The material is tethered to tracks beneath the copings on either side of the pool and a hydraulic system provides automatic opening and closing using a key switch. How to prepare for the installation of your natural swimming pool?
1. Decide on the size and configuration of pool you want – this will depend on the size of your garden and what you want to use the pool for.
2. Choose the best location for your pool – you’ll want to put the pool wherever you get the most sun so you can enjoy the pool for as long as possible.
3. Calculate the dimensions of your pool and pump house – this will help with ground and landscaping quotes.
4. Choose the surround for your pool – you might want just a few copings around your pool, but you might want a large decking area.
5. Organise ground works to excavate and fortify.
6. CWR install the pool and the pump room equipment.
7. Organise the landscaping team to finish off the dressing around the pool.

Will the natural swimming pool water attract bugs and mosquitoes if it has no chemicals?
Mosquitoes prefer standing water and as the pump system keeps the water in your pool constantly on the move you should be almost completely mosquito free!

My garden is sloped – Can I still have a natural swimming pool?
The short answer is yes. By working with professional pool builders and landscapers, you can still have a pool, even when you’re dealing with a slope. However, you may need to be creative to ensure the final result is aesthetically pleasing, functional, and safe.
One option is to grade the land. A slight slope can be fixed with some minor landscaping, which may be the easiest option in certain cases. You can also build up the lower side of the slope to even it out. However, that might not be viable if you have a more severe slope in your yard. But never fear — there are some other ideas that your pool building contractor can use if necessary.
