This is an exciting opportunity for someone from an electrical or renewable engineering background, looking for a role where they can contribute towards and be involved in costing and design discussions for complex and large projects.

In this role you will be delivering high value enquiries from concept to order placement and supporting the transition to project delivery. You will be responsible for engaging with existing clients and developing new business through high levels of customer service, design and pricing estimation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Produce engineering and design drawings and bill of materials including use of industry software such as PV Sol, PVsyst, AutoCAD and a variety of manufacturer specific design packages for electrical and system loading design.
Provide systems designs, costing estimates and a bill of materials for a range of Solar PV Commercial Rooftop, Solar Carports, Solar PV on residential new build developments, EV charging and Battery Storage projects.
To meet and exceed financial targets and KPIs set annually with your Line Manager ensuring that these are accurately recorded in the CRM and against client segmentation.
Working closely with the Project team to ensure all estimates are designed and costed in line with project specifications.
Ensuring that all jobs follow an effective handover process to enable project delivery with minimal input required from a post-sale perspective.
Produce accurate commercial quotations and technical proposals based on tender requests and technical commercial specification documents.
Work on a wide range of interesting projects from 4kWp to 2+MWp.
Develop additional product offerings and assist in development of Comera Power Brand.
Provide case studies, subject matter expert advice, market research and information on market trends for blog and marketing production.
To research and advise new lines of income, including technologies, systems and process.
Completing and reviewing Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQ) and tender submissions for new and existing business to ensure accuracy and commercial viability.
Drive Comera Power Quality by adhering to repeatable document and version control processes.
May be expected to travel to site or head office where required.

Skill/ Qualification Requirements:

Excellent knowledge of Solar PV - with a focus on commercial Solar - with a good working knowledge of EV Charging and Battery Storage Systems.
Confident speaking with a range of stakeholders.
Experience in selling, specifying and technically supporting renewable energy technology products and services is essential.
A working knowledge of Air Source Heat Pumps would be an advantage - especially how they work together with Solar PV.
Demonstrable experience of engaging with commercial clients to include M&E contractors, design consultants, architects, main contractors, end users and suppliers.
Demonstrable track record of success producing commercially focused design and cost estimating.
