"Despite the darkness, we still hold light for the future".
Although the new year is a year full of pain and destruction, we hope that 2024 will be a new life, an ambition for every Palestinian to achieve their freedom to live safely in the Holy Land. We pray there will be a new hope for our beloved Palestine to exist in peace and to give us a better future full of justice and the opening of Palestine once again in the new year.

Next Bristol March for Gaza. The Israeli army has laid waste to much of Gaza. The death toll is approaching 20,000. Across the world countries are calling for a ceasefire. Last week the USA vetoed a UN resolution calling for a ceasefire; Britain abstained. The USA and Britain continue to give political cover to Israel and supply them with arms. Here, the Labour 'opposition' backs up the government. Those of us who represent majority opinion in calling for a ceasefire have to continue to raise our voices at every opportunity.
Following on from last Saturday's huge demonstration in London, Saturday December 16th sees another Bristol demonstration calling for an end to the bombing and an immediate ceasefire. Please join us if you can and spread the word amongst friends and neighbours. See below for details.
