Larb is sort of like the meat sibling of som tam; It’s a staple dish of Thai Isaan food, made from different ingredients, but go incredibly well together.

Larb is a Thai meat salad. The minced pork is wonderfully seasoned with fish sauce, chili flakes, lime juice, toasted sticky rice to give it some crunchy texture, and a wonderful assortment of fresh herbs to bring it all together.

A spoon of larb followed by a ball of hot sticky rice, is one of the great flavor combinations that will blow your mind.

If you’ve eaten larb, I’m sure you love it, but if you’ve never tried it, come to Clifton Thai for a real treat!

Following the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the official date of the State Funeral will be Monday,19th September 2022. This will be a bank holiday and the restaurant will be closed for the day to respect our beloved Queen.
We will re-open again on Tuesday, 20th September at 18:00 as usual.
