There are many reasons why it is great to work for Amicus, one is the location of our offices at St Werburghs Community Centre, such a wonderful environment which is really good for the soul, and the amazing Neck of the Woods Cafe. If you are interested in fostering why not pop along to our office on a Wednesday and pick up some information, alternatively give us a call or email anytime

At Amicus we always enjoy the October half term as that brings activities, and our Halloween events. What ever you are doing this month, enjoy the remainder of the warm weather as we approach Winter. Well the summer holidays went by so fast! we had a great one here at Amicus. So many activities organised by our fantastic youth service. We had foster children and young people, their foster carers and staff abseiling, continued our sailing course, had a summer festival, and in between kept the allotment up to scratch. There was some amazing home grown rainbow roasted carrot soup on offer. If you are interested in fostering for Amicus then get in touch.

Its that time of year. We wont be bopping at , but we will be having a great time at our Amicus Annual Camping trip. It has been a long time since we have been able to have one due to various reasons 😜 but we intend to have an amazing time this weekend with our young people, their foster carers and staff. When you foster for Amicus, you become part of our family and can join and enjoy a whole host of activities designed with you, your families and the young people you care for in mind.
We have a busy summer in store for us, with activities for our foster carers and their children. We are also going to be out and about in the Bristol area recruiting foster carers to join our Amicus "family". If you are at Bristol Pride on the 8th July, then stop by and say hello
Wishing a happy fathers day to all our amazing foster Dads/parents/carers today. You go above and beyond every day. Have a wonderful day.
Rest in Peace Your Majesty. All of us here at Amicus Foster Carer would like to express our condolences to his majesty King Charles III, and the Royal Family.
Her dedication as Queen and service to the public has not in the lightest sentence been an inspiration to many people around the globe. Which is that she was a beloved monarch by many, who loved her wit, her understanding and her empathy that touched so many around the world and she will be missed and mourned by many of them.
She has served us, the public till her last day and for which we would like to thank her. The Queen has been a beacon of stability during our darker times during her 70-year reign.
