The Challenge: Imagine embarking on a journey that tests the limits of human endurance - a 21-mile swim in the unforgivable English channel, a 50-mile run through diverse terrains, and a 200-mile cycle pushing through wind and weather. It's not just a race; it's a monumental test of will, strength, and heart. This is the Tri Ultra Relay, a challenge designed for those with ironclad determination and a seriously strong mentality.
Our Mission: As we dive into waves, run across trails, and pedal towards the horizon, our goal isn't just to cross the finish line. We're on a mission to support The Basement Project – An incredible organisation dedicated to transforming lives through support and direct action. The Basement Project has been a beacon of hope and change. Additionally, we are equally committed to raising funds for My Black Dog – a vital mental health charity. My Black Dog offers peer-to-peer support, providing a platform where people can talk openly about their mental health with volunteers who have experienced similar issues. Their work is crucial in breaking the stigma around mental health and offering a lifeline to those in need.
Why We Need You: Every stroke, step, and pedal is fuelled by your support. Your cheers push us forward, but it's your donations that make a real difference. We are looking for a full-time, confident and experienced barber to join our family at Declan Jacobs Barbering.
We are a rapidly growing high end barbershop situated on Bromsgrove High Street. We are proudly sponsored by Dapper Dan exclusively selling their products. We have been featured in news articles, radio interviews and we are also very pleased to have reached the final of the Professional Barber World Series competition for the Barbershop of the Year 2022 award.
The ideal candidate will need to possess the following skills:
* Minimum of 2 years Barbering experience
* Strong customer service skills
* Be able to maintain a clean and hygienic work station
* Be able to confidently execute all of our services offered (however, we will offer further training to weaker areas)
* Passion for the industry and ambition to progress within the business
* Being able to work well both individually and in a team
You will have the opportunity to get involved in a more diverse range of tasks outside of your normal everyday barbershop activities, including education, podcasts, competitions, trade shows etc.
Additional training and support will also be offered to further enhance your skills and knowledge in the industry.
