Hi! I'm Josh Plumstead, welcome to my page. Please message if you have jobs that you'd like me to do for you, thank you.

Happy New Year Everyone! I hope youβve all had a good Christmas and have a great new year.

From green to clean. This was a recent jet wash clean of a customers lovely Indian sandstone patio π€©
Here's a few jobs done recently for one of my regular customers.
A beautiful handmade solid pine 2 tier plant stand finished with danish oil to enrich the wood grain and offer increased waterproofing/durability. ( It just needs some plants now π)
Kickboard made from scratch and painted to match existing skirting.
Utility/kitchen area transformation complete π€© On my most recent visit I applied a second coat of medium oak danish oil to the worktops. Updated downlights with new led lamps π‘& replaced old silicone around the edge of the worktops.
Extended the decking for my dear old grandad so he can now tend the plants that side of his garden in his wheelchair ππ
I've loved completing this transformation from bulky worn out cabinets, to solid English oak shelving with bags of character. Just look at the wood grain π finished with danish oil to enhance and protect the wood.
I've also made a custom cabinet and door to box in the boiler. It now fits in with the rest of the cabinets and colour scheme really nicely.
Lastly I installed an LED strip light along the length of the bottom shelf π‘
What do you think?
I do jetwashing too! So satisfying seeing the dirt disappear before your eyes π€© some nice before and after pictures here of a customers patio I cleaned a few days ago.
Believe it or not these lovely green marble effect coasters are made with π―% recycled HDPE plastic bottle tops. Not bad for my first try using 's method.

I can't wait to use different colour combinations next time and have a go at making other larger items. Maybe a chopping board next I think. π€
Restored 3 very worn out looking benches. Cleaned them up, sanded them and then stained them twice all over with ronseal natural oak stain. Now they're looking great!
I think I might've set a new BENCHmark for furniture restoration π
See the last pic to see how they were looking before.
π² I must admit that I want my own solid oak shelves after installing these for one of my customers!
Really strong solid shelves and really nice to look at especially with the natural grain of the oak π€© also boxed off the boiler and made the door from scratch using the old cabinet doors I removed previously.
Once the oak has had a chance to dry out fully I'll be back to stain the shelves and paint/ finish the cupboard door. π§βπ¨
Finally finished upcycling this lovely solid wood TV unit. It's now up for sale! If you'd like this statement piece in your home then feel free to message me for price and more details, thank you π
This was a nice challenge, made 3 curved raised beds to fit in with the garden design of Salvia Gardening Services π οΈπΏ
Amazing what difference some cleaning, LOADS of sanding and a lick of paint can make. π€©π§βπ¨
These finds cost me a whopping Β£0! Time to get upcycling π
A customer asked me if I could make them one of my coat racks but with a shelf above and made to their measurements, and here it is. Made from Timber off cuts, stained to bring out the wood grain and sealed with a protective clear top coat.
Our new puppy Stitch trying to halt production of the gates intended to keep him in the garden π πΆ
Possibly my favourite upcycle project to date and I haven't even finished it yet! π All ready for pouring resin which will create a smooth glass-like table topπ€. Coming together nicely so far, what do you think of it? π οΈ
Finished these up and they are now available for Β£25 each π€©
Had fun sprucing up this metal double garage door. I Cleaned it, Sanded it down to remove the old flaking paint and then applied 2 coats of crown burgundy non drip gloss ( has since darkened slightly) and now it looks brand new π€©
Please follow and like if you want to see more of my handywork! thank you βΊοΈ
This job involved extending a few fence panels for a customer that wanted more privacy from the house next door which overlooks hers. Great result and my customer was very pleased. Also painted the fence for her too.
Finished painting this customer's bedroom yesterday. Great choice of colours with 2 different shades of purple, gives a nice contrast where the different colour walls meet. Last 2 pics are before. π§βπ¨
Finished the one TV unit now onto another that was gifted to me. It's a work in progress but It's already coming together really nicely. Here's a sneak peek π
Gerald the giraffe has had quite the makeover πβ¨ he's gone from dark and dull (pic 5) to bright and stylish. Spray painted rose gold/copper and then the Matt black pattern I hand painted.
Here's some new but retro looking light fittings installed for a customer last week. Plus two spotlights put in to illuminate the previously dark utility area. π‘
Check out my latest creations, some lovely rustic looking Christmas tree wall hanging decorations, on sale now! Link is in the comments ππ
Here's a nice little TV unit upcycled for my mum!
Surprisingly for such a small piece of furniture it caused me a lot of issues π. I ended up having to do 4 coats of paint to finally achieve a nice finish as the paint didn't like bonding to this piece for some reason even after applying primer beforehand π€·ββοΈ. Add to that all the sanding, varnishing, filling/repairs and it ended up being quite the task.
However finally completed now and I'm very pleased with how it's turned out, onto the next project! ππ οΈ
Here are the finished pieces of furniture that I upcycled for one of my customers painted in slate grey with a protective top coat on the table tops and cupboard top. The customer and I were both very pleased with the final result. π π§βπ¨
Little sneak peek of the pieces of furniture I've been working on the last couple of days. Can't wait to show the finished products to my customer π¬π§βπ¨
Here are some lovely looking back door steps that I made for one of my customers in Bromsgrove. π οΈ
Wall panelling and top trim installed for a customer in Birmingham in preparation for the painting and decorating they have planned. Turned out very nice βΊοΈ Let me know if you want any wall panelling installed in the West Midlands area and I'll be happy to help. π οΈ
