Hi, I'm Gill 👋

It's so easy to forget there's a human behind a business! So here's my background and some fun facts about myself

I wanted to be a hairdresser for as long as I could remember! From asking for long-haired dolls to styling my Mum's hair for her.

As soon as I left school, I studied hairdressing and got my first job at Kent's hairdressers.
Life got in the way and I ran the family hotel while raising my two boys but still hairdressing when I could.

Eventually I opened my first salon, and Snipz has continued to grow ever since!

I have now retired but I have kept the salon with the help of the great team behind Snipz - Dena, Julie & Mel - who are a lovely bunch of girls!

💃I love to Dance and won some medals when I was younger! Any type of Latin American, ballroom, and Rock 'n' Roll are my favs. I've even had a dance lesson, which was a Christmas gift, with James Jordan from Strictly Come Dancing!

🔮I was a contestant on Wheel of Fortune, and many clients have seen me in the re-runs!

🐶We've always had Black Labradors, who were so gentle when my boys were growing up, and now they've carried on the tradition and have their own!

I hope to see you in the salon soon!

She raised money for the Macmillan Cancer Support, AND had sent her hair over to The Little Princess Trust, who turned it into a wig.

We were so happy to assist her with this and still so proud to this day!
