What a fantastic day we have had here at Chandler Court. We celebrated our Sports Day in true Olympic style.
Amazing food, sporting events and an excellent performance from Startime Variety.

We have been busy getting ready for chandlercourts Olympic sports day tomorrow the 27th of July we have lots of competitions games food and we have startime variety, coming to sing for us. Everyone is welcome to join us for some fun, It starts at 11am till 4pm.
Today is National cheese and wine day, the residents enjoyed sampling a variety of cheese crackers and wines. Along with a good chatter and jazz music
A highlight from the weekend Sunday was
National icecream day and what a lovely day it was the sun was shining, and nothing better than a icecream enjoyed by all.
This afternoon we had Karl in to sing for us everyone joined in and some of the ladies had their dancing shoes on

It was another fun packed morning here at Chandler Court with a visit from Rhythm Time baby group.
Along with Emily the babies including Freyja and Miyah joined in the fun, music, cuddles and interaction with residents.
We look forward to seeing you all again in September.
A highlight from last Tuesday we had the lovely Debbie Miles come and sing for us, the residents really enjoy when Debbie comes as there is always lots of singing dancing and laughter. Also thank you to the staff that joined in .
Everyone enjoyed watching bromsgrove carnival go past today, the sun even came out.
To continue our Wimbledon week we had an amazing time with Amber Support Services Bromsgrove.
Lots of fun was had playing our balloon tennis match and we are looking forward to a rematch.
We kick started our Wimbledon week in style today at Chandler Court. Strawberries and Cream and a Pimms station were provided by our amazing kitchen team, and the residents enjoyed tennis themed activities

Everyone welcome at Bromsgrove care homeโs big sports day A CARE HOME in Bromsgrove is helping its residents get in the sporting spirit by hosting its very own Olympic inspired activity games day.
Today is the 4th of July National independence day in America, so we celebrated in style with doing quizzes wordsearches and colouring which is very therapeutic and good for keeping the mind stimulated. Adrien our Second chef did a super America themed lunch, that went down a treat.
Today rhythm time came to vist us. The residents enjoyed the intergenerational interaction, smiles all round

As the weather has been glorious yesterday and today the residents have been out in the garden planting flowers and playing games.
Members from Bromsgrove Amber Support Services visited us here at Chandler Court this week for their cinema club.
Chandler court offers great facilities and we are very happy to host the cinema club for our friends.
Thank you Bromsgrove Men in Sheds for the wonderful twiddle boards. We will definitely put them to good use.
Yesterday was international Picnic day as it wasn't very warm we brought it in to the coffee shop, we played games and plenty of laughter was had. Thank you Alex and his team for the delicious food as always
We started the weekend with a visit from the Bromsgrove Youth & Community Hub. The members challenged us to games, puzzles, and bingo. All of us had a great morning, it was lots of fun.Thank you The Hub Bromsgrove.
Another very enjoyable morning with Rhythm Time baby group here at Chandler Court. Lots of singing, music and cuddles.
We are looking forward to the next visit.

What a great day we had here at Chandler Court. We celebrated D-day in style, starting with morning entertainment from the fantastic David Coulson then we enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea made by our amazing chefs. Our day ended with reminiscing and commemorating the 80th anniversary with poetry reading and lighting our lamp light of peace.
We have thoroughly enjoyed our first visit from Rhythm Time baby group here at Chandler Court.
We joined in with musical instruments, singing and cuddles and had great fun watching the babies.
Today is National biscuit day we have been busy making our own and enjoyed a biscuit or two. We also had a trip out to Marks and Spencers this morning where the residents did some shopping and a well earned cuppa was had
Last week we had Karl sing for the residents. We all sang, danced and really enjoyed the afternoon!
Today is National Bee Day and one of our carers is a avid bee keeper for a hobby. Carl kindly gave us a talk about bees and showed us the hives, wax etc. We even sampled some honey. Thank you Carl everyone really enjoyed the afternoon
