Saturday Charity evening event Deb Day Sewing Room . Sewing challenge in 2.5 hours. The students created garments for the catwalk, title outrageous designs using only upcycled Garments. The job of judging was tough as all the garments created were fabulous. The event was held at the The Old Print Works Birmingham. I love this building as it’s full of creativity. The charity supported on the night was Anawim Birmingham's Centre for Women. Big congratulations to Deb Day for her 5th Birthday at her wonderful studios based at the Print Works Birmingham

Proud day today. Millie Stanway and Evie Dalton. City & Guilds certificates in Abundance awarded. Covering level 1 Awards in Fashion Level 1 Certificate in Fashion and Level 2 Certificate in Fashion for them both. It’s been an amazing sewing journey from Young Designers club age 8 to now at the dizzy heights of all these City & Guilds They have both been so much fun to teach and we wish them lots of luck in the next steps to University . Congratulations Thank you for being so supportive in all the IDC fashion shows .

Fabulous Young Designers Sewing session tonight. Tuesday weekly. 6 till 8 pm. 14 to 17 years session. Tonight was extra special as we awarded Orla Kelly her City & Guilds Fashion Level 1 Award Certificate.

Fabulous coat created out of felt from Worcester Remade Sue Fry fully lined from all of Helen’s past projects. The coat is just as much fun on the inside trust me. @wednesday sewing class. mornings. Join us 10 am till 12.30
