Passed with flying colours this week after our annual visit from City & Guilds External verifier Margaret Walker.
She enjoyed a live presentation from Sarah Hamblett to pass her final unit for her Level 3 Certificate in Fashion.

We're inviting local crafters & creatives, food & drinks providers, musicians & singers and community organisations to join us and bring the festive spirit to Astwood Bank.
The Market also see's the switch on of our Christmas Lights & an appearance from the Big Man in Red 🎅
The Market will be open to the public 3 - 6pm

This year for Halloween, you are our Scream Team!!
We are inviting homes and businesses within the village to make their own Scarecrow to display and create a wonderful trail for the community to enjoy.
How to enter:

🎃We'll get in touch and you'll be added to the Spooky Route Map
🎃A week before the Trail begins you will receive a pack with a laminated number and QR code to display
(this code will be for trail participants to donate to ABCG & for voting!)
🎃Get your Scarecrows out from 26th October until 1st November
Details will be posted nearer to the time of how to get hold of the Spooky Scarecrow Trail Map for the community to follow around the village.
We'll also be sharing hints and tips for scarecrow building over the coming weeks.

Whether you are interested in Fashion, Textiles or Craft, you are bound to find something to suit you. Classes are small and designed for beginners as well as for those with experience who wish to improve existing skills. Classes are taught during the day and in the evening.
You can learn to create your own simple made to measure piece of clothing, a millinery headpiece or hat, a tailored suit, and many more including specialized craft and textile techniques with our visiting tutors.
We have a small on site cafe and craft shops with ample parking and a five min walk from the Redditch train station and Bus station
