Our hand-built and bespoke Classic boats have been carefully designed for an excellent cruising experience. LAST MINUTE EASTER HOLIDAYS 🐣

Looking for a last minute Easter canal boat holiday?

Call us on 01527 575115 for last-minute availability across our nine UK locations.

We will look to find a narrow boat hire base to suit you so that we can get you out on short notice. We generally need around twenty-four hours notice but we have been known to be able to arrange same day boating (subject to availability of course!).

Please note that we don’t offer day boat hire, but we can offer Easter boat rides for a minimum three-night duration.

🔷A FEW FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

Q: DO YOU NEED TO HAVE PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE TO HIRE A CANAL BOAT?

A: No previous experience is needed to hire a canal boat. Our expert Black Prince team will meet and greet you on arrival and provide you with a full handover for operating the boat. We’ll talk you through the facilities on board, how to drive the boat, how to operate a lock and everything else you need to know for your holiday.

Q: IS THERE A MINIMUM AGE TO HIRE A CANAL BOAT?

A: The main hirer of the canal boat must be aged 25 years or over. Though there is no age limit for driving the boat, the Hirer warrants that whenever the boat is driven by a person aged under 18 years they will always be under close supervision of a competent adult.

Q: CAN I BRING MY PET?

A: YES, absolutely! We have a large selection of pet friendly boats (we ask that you please keep them off the furniture and bedding though!) The first pet is free of charge, there is a charge of £30 for the second pet (payable on arrival at the base) and no more than 2 pets please.
