“We’re not trying to replace memories; we’re trying to make new ones. Christmas was always going to be tough. Last year was the children’s first Christmas without both parents and we knew it would be important to make it fun. Olivia showed us her Mum’s perfect technique for stringing the Christmas lights, and Hannah bought us all matching pyjamas. Together we got through it.” David Kershaw - Primrose Hospice Supporter 💛 To dedicate a light in memory of your loved one today visit ➡️https://primrosehospice.org/events/lightsoflove/ Or contact our fundraising team: 📞 01527 889 796 ✉️ [email protected] Our Lights of Love 2023 appeal is being kindly sponsored by Thomas Brothers The Funeral Directors

Our #ThankfulThursday this week goes out to the wonderful Nina. Earlier in the year, she set out to fundraise for Primrose Hospice. After Nina was given the all-clear from her cancer diagnosis, she wanted to give something back to her community, so she laced up her trainers and dedicated herself to running 5KM every day in June 2023! 🏃‍♀️ Nina said: “I think we as human beings take things for granted and we shouldn’t because we never know what might happen and never know when we might need support from somewhere like Primrose. So I think just go for it, because life is too short and you never know who you can help and save.” 💛 Along with friends and family, including her friend Claire, who was running in memory of her Mom and hero Julie Dyer, they went out in all weathers, completed their challenge and smashed their fundraising target! Together they raised £3,023! Thank you to Nina, Claire and everyone who donated to their challenge. Your support will help us continue caring for patients and families in North East Worcestershire 💛 Listen to Nina talking about her fundraising below ⬇️
