🎄✨ CALLING ALL LOCAL BUSINESSES!! ✨🎄

Broughton Alive is gearing up for our annual Broughton Astley Christmas Light Switch-On event on Saturday 7th December. We’re looking for local businesses or organisations that are able to contribute towards the costs of organising and running the event.

Sponsorship is a fantastic way to support our community, gain local exposure, and be part of this magical evening. Your contribution will go towards making the event even more memorable with festive lights, entertainment and activities for all ages.

In return, your name and logo will be displayed on promotional literature and social media posts in the run up to the evening. We will also announce your business to our 100s of attendees during the event and your sponsorship will be displayed around the village Christmas tree throughout the festive period.

Party in the Park Open Mic
Sunday 25th August 2024

Here is our first thank you post for everyone who helped, supported, turned up and sponsored the 2024 Carnival.

We want to say a huge thank you to all our amazing sponsors. Without their support and donations, we would not be able to organise events like the carnival.

Special thanks go to Ringrose Butchers for supporting the BBQ, John Brindley Limited for the stage and Estley Stores for supporting the bar this year.

On the 12th May Broughton Alive hosted a tea dance in the Village Hall. Lots of fun was had by everyone there, which included afternoon tea and cakes, and of course, there was plenty of dancing. DJ Gerald was in charge of the music.

Thank you to everyone who came along. We will let you know when we organise another tea dance.

Here is today's reason for coming down. Pumped Up Police, will be performing on the main stage. There will also be performances from Helen Guy Dance Academy, Sarah Adams Gymnastics, and Morris Dancing.

The weather is still looking fine with a maximum of 20 degrees with light clouds 😎⛅️ , so bring your picnic blanket, get a drink from the bar and something from the BBQ, and enjoy the entertainment!

Finally, Broughton Alive would like to say a huge thank you 🙏🏼 to all the local businesses for their support and sponsorship, plus to the volunteers who are helping marshal, set up, or run a stall.

Come and find the St Mary's Stall at the Carnival this Saturday, to get tickets for the Duck Race - the ducks are currently in training! There will also be games to play, and a tombola too!

Broughton Astley Christmas Fayre and Lights Switch On will be on Saturday 2nd December. All the fun and entertainment starts at 4:15 and the lights will be switched on at 5:00.

This year's special guests will be Paw Patrol's Chase and Skye(joined by a special surprise guest!).

Put the date in your diary for the fun fair, Christmas stalls, food, Santa's grotto, free mulled wine and mince pies, and much more.
