If you think you need A&E, but it’s not life-threatening, call NHS 24 on 111 day or night.
If it’s an emergency, you should call 999 or go to A&E. Please do not attend A&E with a problem that you would normally see your GP with. This will allow A&E to concentrate on patients with emergency conditions.

Got COVID symptoms? If you're otherwise fit and healthy, there's usually no need to see a doctor. The best thing to do is stay at home and get plenty of rest. You should wear loose, comfortable clothing, drink plenty of fluids and take paracetamol for a high temperature or aches.
Stay off work or school until you're feeling better. For most people, this will take up to a week.
Visit www.keepwellinwinter.scot.nhs.uk for advice on how to care for yourself at home.
GP practices will be closed for four days at Christmas (23-26 December) and four days at New Year (30 December - 2 January).
