Woohoo! Less than 2 weeks until the Summer Holidays! ☀️

I’m now fully booked until after my holiday and back to work from Wednesday 10th July within Salon @ One at the Marchmont Business Centre 📍

I’ll be working reduced days throughout the Summer Holidays so please contact me ASAP to get those appointments in 👍🏼

In the meantime… pray for sun, stock up on those snacks and try to relax for the next wee while - it’s going to be fun! 🥴

Summer is just around the corner and although it is recommended to not wear your hair extensions whilst on holiday I know the chances are you want those longer and thicker locks to give you a holiday boost.

So if you’re taking those stenies to the pool there’s a few extra precautions to take to look after your hair in the sun.

☀️ Ensure you’ve had a maintenance appointment shortly before departing on holiday.
☀️ Use heat protection spray/oil to create a barrier for staining from sun tan lotion and chlorine/salt water.
☀️ Avoid messy buns, consider plaited hair and hats to keep your hair in a tangle free style which will be easier to brush after being in water.
☀️ Ensure your hair is dry before bed every night and brush your hair to keep your hair tangle free as much as you can.
☀️ Malibu C Hard Water Wellness Treatment Shampoo & Conditioner will aid in the prevention of harsh mineral build up from chlorine and salt water which can cause your hair extensions to feel dry, brittle and discoloured - pack this kit as a precaution.

Prolonged periods abroad especially in harsh water can break down your bonds, particularly tape extensions and you wouldn’t want your tapes slipping whilst trying to be boujee by the pool.

Taking these extra steps of aftercare will help toward your extensions looking great on holiday - enjoy!

As of Tuesday 25th June I’ll be located within One Marchmont Business Centre working alongside Jill.

It was time to move on to pastures new and spread my wings a little further, I have loved every minute of working within Mona Lisa and full of gratitude I was given the opportunity to get back into hairdressing after the world shut down with Covid.

I can’t wait to take you all along on this exciting new chapter, I will message each client before their initial appointment within ‘Salon @ One’ with directions and how to enter the building.

My absolutely gorgeous client suffered from medical hair loss last year, we were left with no option but to cut her hair short to allow it grow back evenly. Fast forward to now and her hair is recovering but she wanted to feel more like herself again.

I first coloured her hair to match the 12” weft I had recommended for her, after 1 row I decided the rest of the infill could be achieved with nano loops to further blend her own hair and the new. The result is a beautiful blonde lob which will give her so much more confidence as her own hair continues to thrive while wearing extensions. I’ll see her in 3 weeks for a check up and move up if required then again 3 weeks later for a full maintenance appointment 😊

I hope everyone’s surviving this very long, horrible Month! Unfortunately, I've been dealing with back issues swiftly followed the worst virus known to man for most of January (not COVID, I did test) which has kept me away from the salon. I want to express my sincere apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused to my valued clients.

The good news is that I'm FINALLY on the mend and excited to get fully back to work next week! Starting next Monday, I'll be diligently working through rescheduling appointments and addressing any messages I’ve received since the beginning of the year - I’ve had just one day back to work in 2024 so far 🙈

Thank you for your understanding and patience during this time. I can't wait to get back to doing what I love, making you all look and feel fabulous. Looking forward to seeing you soon!
