Great performance from the boys yesterday missing a few regulars but the boys did us proud and was a real team performance, some fantastic defensive work at times and some great finishing, every single player put a shift in, 👏 goals from Charlie who got 1, Munt with more goals scoring 2, and Matt Dunn with his hat trick, man of the match was Mark Bumann who constantly battled away not only clearing a ball of the line but also pushing the team forward, the list goes on luke with his excellent 3 assists, cq with his strong defensive work, richard our captain bossed it at the back, tom some fantastic goalkeeping, chris, leon, huey, mark j all doing fantastic, thank you to Simon Prockter and his OB City team for hosting and we will see you again next year.
Roll on Sunday the boys can't wait to be back on the pitch

We are playing away this Sunday at Newport Pagnell 1030am kick off
We played away today in Northampton against a league team, started off with a minutes silence from the boy's, then we started strong from the off so many chances which resulted in so many corners one chance cleared of the line from a corner then Matt sent another ball in to assist Mark Bumann for the first goal, the second goal came around very quickly with shaun with a calm finish, we kept pressing to put them under pressure to keep them on the back foot they had a few chances with saves from Tom Hinds and alot of fantastic tackles from the defence, the passes started to flow the boys were enjoying there time in Northampton a deflected shot fell beautifully to Charlie and a great finish over the keeper's head to make it 3-0 we wasn't done there with half time whistle looming ciaran put a long ball in to Matt Dunn with the keeping coming out Matt lobbed the keeper to make it 4-0 at half time, some changes from the boys and we went again Ben was through 1 on 1 with the keeper to make it 5-0 few minutes after the same scenario happened ben shot it was of the keeper for Matt to run in and make it 6-0 there was abit of a mistake at the back with a handball to give them a penalty which tom was unlucky not to save, we started to slow down knowing the game was won but Jo was still fighting for every ball as he's done all game, 6-1 at this point when we got a free kick on the left mark stepped up to take it with a top corner finish the game ended Overweight FC 7-north star 1

Really tough game today against a strong leighton phoniex side, we started out very strong missed a few chances with one being cleared of the line, it was all square at 0-0 at half time but we came out fast and Matt Dunn put us in the lead to go 1-0 up but leighton soon made it level, we kept passing well and the next goal came with Luke Mcfarlane scoring with what was a great finish 2-1 up at this stage we showed some great defending but ended up giving a penalty away from a handball to make it 2-2, we kept at it and soon went 3-2 up a great cross from luke and Matt was there to finish again, not long to go chances came and went but with 1 minute left in the game there was abit of a mix up in our defence and conceded with one of the last kicks of the game, game ended 3-3 amazing game to watch and a very good opponent thank you the leighton phoniex boys for there kind donation and we will be definitely playing you boys again.

From today's game
Today we travelled to tring, we started very strong and soon went 1-0 up with a fantastic assist from James and an equally good finish from Matt, but Tring soon pulled it level to 1-1 but we soon got ourselves organised and a long throw in from Charlie seen mac flick it on for Mark pios head to make it 2-1 at half time, we made some changes and came out very slow and soon seen Tring even the score at 2-2, we then could not find our rhythm with chances coming and going and then went 3-2 down with our team losing concentration, we kept at it but our heads were down and in going for the goal we got caught on the counter attack to make it game over at 4-2, well played tring better team on the day and thank you for the food and drink that makes it 1-1 in games we look forward to playing them again,
We win together we lose together ❤️ owfc
