Seven Sisters was the choice for Sunday follow up hike, and it was a great one. Even if a bit windy, it was totally worth it. Beautiful 10k to finish our weekend trip and now on the way home to cuddle the kitty and some well deserved bite ππ»
Saturday hike in Hastings went pretty nice. Windyπͺ, humidπ₯΅, full of nice views π and abundance of blackberries π€€
Bucksotto, buckotto, buckwheatto? π€£Well... you got the idea. Buckwheat risotto ready. For a first try not bad at all, though spice neutral, which in our case is a plus, so we can season as we like on the plate. Ultra low fat, so feel free adding some oils, nuts avocados or even runny egg if you like, without any guilt. 450g portion on the plate has kcal: 481 P:43 C:55 F:7 ππ»ββοΈ

Our test run of new hiking boots went well and results are satisfactory. Over 12k of route and all comfy and nice. Boots approved. See some pics of the lovely Chilterns for your pleasure π

Our new weapons for hiking trips finally arrived. π₯ After years of using Ecco we have decided to make friends with Salomon as dedicated hiking boots choice and picked the newest generation of their flagship all rounders. Can't wait for our mountains trip this autumn to do a proper test drive. So far they feel very snug and are terrifyingly light comparing to full yak hide Eccos. We will see how they perform on trail soon.ππ€πππ
