Every choice you make affects the next one after it. This is how habits are formed and become ingrained. The more you make the same choice, the easier it becomes to make that choice again.
As difficult as it can be to truly understand yourself, it’s not so hard to see how choices you’ve made led to the type of person you are.
There are two ways to classify yourself.
1- You control your choices.
You see the opportunity and pitfalls in front of you each day, and you consciously decide how to respond to them.
2- your choices control you
You’re overwhelmed by the choices in front of you. You let your base instincts, the ones only focused on short term gains control you.
Think of some of the situations you might want to change in your life and ask yourself how to approach them.
1 Deadlines at work
They’re coming one way or another. Will you prep for them now, or wait until they are staring you in the face?
2- losing weight
If you’re overweight and unhealthy, you’ll eventually be forced to do something to fix it. Will you wait for life to force you into that position, or will you choose to tackle it proactively?
3- Quitting smoking
There are 12 ci******es left in the pack. Do you take control by tossing them out or do you wait until the pack is empty?
It’s funny isn’t it, when you take the easy path you often end up dissatisfied and unfulfilled
Sure it was easy, but it left you feeling empty and less in control. Worse it made it easier to make that choice again and again until it became a habit.
Now think of the times you made hard choices. All that effort was hard, but left you feeling powerful and in control.
The satisfaction of making the hard choice and sticking to it.
It doesn’t always coming straight away, that’s what makes it hard. But when it does it’s so satisfying
Each time you make that hard choice, it gets easier to make it again.
HARD choices become EASY
If you have the power to make someone happy, do it.
The world needs more of that.

What does it mean to take responsibility for your actions?
Taking responsibility for your actions involves owning up to the positive and negative consequences of your choices and behaviour, rather than attributing them to external factors or other actions.
Acknowledging the effects of certain behaviours is often more difficult than blaming circumstances or other people for negative situations. In the long run, taking responsibility for your own actions demonstrates a strength of character and willingness to grow.
Use these tips to work on developing this skill
Honor your word
People will likely trust you more when your actions align with your words. Commit to personal accountability by following through when you make commitments to yourself, co workers, friends, or family members, without making excuses.
Focus on accountability
Rather than blaming others(or the world in general) for a specific outcome, accepting personal responsibility allows you to evaluate your future actions and minimise harm.
Take action
Make goals and take steps to achieving them. Actively pursuing a goal will reinforce your capability for self improvement and help motivate you to create positive change in your life.
As much as this is a light hearted post, it will probably relate to a lot of people as well.
Let’s be real, Many people workout to look great in clothes, feel good about themselves in whatever they wear.
But how about looking good naked as well?
It’s very common for people to not feel confident enough in how they look to get undressed/naked in front of their partners.
We all want to look good in clothes but looking good naked takes it to a whole new level mentally and physically

It would be a huge understatement if I said my client Rachel didn’t like to party.
But partying and being able to wear clothes that you wouldn’t have done 12 months ago, and feel Good wearing them?
How good would that make you feel?
This takes some kind of hard work, discipline and sacrifice, but ask Rachel if it was worth it?
Being a single parent of 3 children makes this even harder, but we still as adults have choices to make.
We have been working together for around 6 months now.
2 Full body workouts per week, focusing predominantly on glutes/legs. Plus home workouts and running 2/3 times per week.
Sometimes it can be small changes, but big results.

Fear manifests itself in many ways. Perhaps it’s fear of change, fear that the journey will be too hard, fear of failure, fear of success, or fear of missing out.
The type of fear doesn’t matter.
Change doesn’t happen unless we are fired up to make it happen. It happens when we’ve tapped into strong emotions about our situation and about the future we envision.
I’ve often said that change doesn’t happen until the pain gets too much.
The pain can be physical, mental, emotional, or social. But when it gets to that certain threshold (everyone’s is different) the change process becomes much easier.
After the threshold is reached, excuses fall by the wayside and the job gets done.
“I’ve spent most of my life pretty active and reasonably fit but I’ve struggled in the last decade to maintain things and at 48, I wasn’t sure if I could get anywhere near ‘back in the day’ levels of shape and strength.
