Barney our ‘therapy dog’ had a wonderful walk along the beach this weekend.

He enjoys cuddles and lots of attention from the staff, visitors and residents in the home!

Hope Everyone had a Happy Easter!
Here's an overview of the exciting things happening at the moment within the home!

We are delighted to have had caterpillars which have hatched into
butterflies and this week have been set free into our spring garden.

This week saw the arrival of hatching eggs with a hatch date of 8th
April for chicks. You are warmly invited to come and meet them with your loved one 'cheep cheep!' and bring any little ones who you think would enjoy a cuddle as well.

Visiting this week was Christine Channon on of our local Counsellors came to visit Bay Court and catch up with a friend. We are looking to further extend our community links with the Budleigh Business Awards coming up in the summer a nice chance to support local businesses.

New team members, we had a number of new carers join us including Erin and Lumy both living in Budleigh Salterton. Chris is our new maintenance person who lives in Exmouth and has a varied background including garden rooms - watch this space!

Shared GP records are being encouraged from the NHS and we are hoping to go live with this - the process has taken more an a year.
We have a privacy notice which will tell you a little more about how your loved ones details are being used. In line with all health and social care we don't pass any details we hold of yours or your loved ones to anyone else with out your consent an overview of this is shown in the GDPR policy, if you would like to see it please say and i will attach a document to the page (once i work out how)

Consent leads me onto our page ++++ which has some info about us and we are looking to share stories on this as well. We have asked the residents for consent to be on the page. Please 'like us' to have any new stories popping into your feed. Some people love the idea of being of social media and others decline its up to the individual - however what can be
nice is sharing what is going on at Bay Court with your wider community.
