Started up as a franchise kitchen in The Three Tunns pub in 2011, then in 2014 we relocated to our cosy romantic cellar restaurant over the road in Aldeby house, due COVID we became a takeaway only 2020-21 and post COVID the opportunity to become the new custodians of The Castle Inn came around and we haven't looked back...

As some of you may already know, Chan and I will be closing the doors of the Castle Inn for the final time this Sunday evening.
We have had a fantastic time serving Asian cuisine during the 14 years of living in Bungay, but we both feel the time is right to take a little break, visit friends and family and consider what's next for the Three Cooks business.
We thoroughly enjoyed our final Curry Night yesterday, which was a huge success, and for those that couldn't make a booking, we will be open tonight, tomorrow, Saturday and Sunday - so there's plenty of time to sample Chan's cooking before she turns the stoves off for the final time; in what has been a fantastic period within our lives.

On Sunday from 12pm, Chan will be serving her renowned Sunday roasts and then we will be going out with a bang with drinks and live music from Generation Gap (2pm) and Best of Both from 5pm.
We would love to see as many of you as possible before we close our doors, and once again, we thank all of you for supporting us in the many years we have operated in Bungay.

The weather is looking good today....so Table 9 will hopefully be performing in the beer garden from 3pm!

It's another beautiful day and our garden is hotting up!
We are open today serving fresh cask ale, g&t's, and of course Chan's incredible Cambodian food!
Tomorrow, she will be serving her renowned Sunday roasts, and GB Live & Unchained will be performing from 3pm!

On Sunday, the garden market hits Earsham Street, and we are here for pints, coffees, Cambodian street food, and LIVE MUSIC!
We are incredibly excited to host the amazing John Buck and Matt on Sunday from 3 pm; if you know, you know... 😀
These two are incredibly accomplished musicians and will play an amazing set that shouldn't be missed!
Visit the market, enjoy our fine town at its busiest and best, then pop in to the Castle Inn for an afternoon of amazing live music from two of Suffolk's finest musicians.

We will be open, serving coffees, roasts, ales, and MORE! If you're feeling peckish when shopping, we'll be serving Cambodian street food outside the pub, too!
