For those of you who follow me personally you’ll know we recently collected our new pup!
Peppa is going to be trained as my youngest son’s autism assistance dog. This means her training is VERY different to other dogs.
She maybe with me most days I’m in the salon (Wednesdays & Fridays)
While she needs to socialise with everyone and be very friendly this needs to be very controlled. When coming into the salon you will be asked not to give her any attention. Bloody hard I know! This is to make sure she doesn’t associate people with fuss & attention so when she’s working (when she’s older) she knows to ignore people and concentrate on the job in hand. (This won't be forever, there will be a point when she's older where she will be given a command to say hello)
I’d really appreciate your understanding with this, and a massive thank-you to everyone who has already been so supportive. SALON POLICIES
Just a polite reminder about our policies.
We always try and be understanding where possible but we do also have a business to run.
🤍 ALL appointments must be confirmed by a card with applicable funds within 24 hours of booking - We do not take ANY payment until your appointment day/time.
🤍By booking your appointment you agree to our cancelation policy, These are outlined as such: ANY appointments cancelled within 24 hours of your appointment will be charged at 100% of your treatment cost. No-show's will be charged 100% of the treatment amount.
🤍Appointments can be changed (moved to another date) up to 24 hours prior to your appointment - Appointments changed outside of this period will be charged as 100% of your treatment cost.
🤍If you are more than 15 minuets late for your appointment this will be treated as a NO-SHOW & you will be charged 100% of the treatment cost.
🤍If payment was not able to be taken from the card on file. You will be sent an invoice & payment is expected within 24 hours or further action will be taken. You will not be able to attend any further appointments until the outstanding balance is settled.
🤍Messaging us direct will not waver the cancelation fees!
🤍If you do not want to keep a card on file - you will be asked to pay a deposit of 50% per appointment.
🤍Forms MUST be completed prior to your appointment - I know they are annoying but they are important to make sure they keep you safe, as well as us.
🤍Nail art - PLEASE, send this in at lest one week prior to your appointment.
🤍Nail repairs - If you need any amendments to your appointment please let us know prior to your appointment as this may have to be rescheduled. Vicki works back to back with clients so may not be able to complete your service. (24 hour rule stands)
🤍Regular appointments - Guys, this is your responsibility to make sure you have booked in for your appointments. We always do our best to accommodate but when we say BOOK YOUR APPOINTMENTS UP we mean it!
🤍We do still ask for CASH or BASC payments as our preferred method of payment in salon. This helps to keep our salon costs down and able to invest it back into the salon for you guys.
We HATE to have to ask or chase you for these fee's! You can manage all your appointments, cards, forms, personal details etc on our booking system VAGARO - If you download the app & log in, Its even easier!

See, the thing is, shaving simply sloughs away the surface layer of hair, leaving the follicle intact. Waxing removes hair from the root. So what that means exactly is that you’re smoother, longer. Because the more you wax, the longer it takes for hair to grow. Waxing deadens the hair follicle. Hair regrowth is much slower post-wax. (Following one wax appointment you’ll need to schedule the next about four to six weeks out, so that should give you a better timeframe of how long a wax can last).
🤍The more you continue to wax, the better chance the regrowth hair becomes finer, softer and lighter (not rough or coarse). That awful feeling of leg stubble one day post-shave? Gone for good when you start your wax routine.
You get to skip the shave. Take shaving to task—it’s not recommended between wax appointments. So even if you have the urge, don’t do it. Throw the razor away.
🤍Waxing eliminates the concern for nicks, cuts or razor burns often associated with shaving.
🤍Promotes less ingrown hairs.

We have been overwhelmed with the ongoing support from you guys and due to an influx of new clients we are now closing Vickis diary! This is to prioritise her current clients appointments first 🥰 Over the next 6 weeks or so Vicki is working around the clock to make sure everyone can get in for the infills however she can not maintain this, so PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make sure you are booked in for your infills!
December is already looking pretty booked so if you are a regular and would like a slot come ‘the dreaded C word’ you MUST book! It’s your responsibility to make sure you have booked up. We are happy to assist where we can 🥰 Our booking system allows up to 4 months in advance but we can book further, pop us a message direct.

Lash Extension common Q&A
Q: Can I wear mascara with lash extensions?
A: No, lash extensions are designed so you do not need to wear mascara. If you did apply mascara on top of your extensions you risk damaging the extensions, they can become thick and lumpy together, & can fall out prematurely. We do not recommend it.
Q: How long do they last?
A: Eyelash extensions are semi-permanent and applied to each individual lash. We recommend infills every 2 weeks. During this appointment we safely remove any outgrown lash extensions & apply new lash extensions on new lashes giving you a lovely full looking set again.
Q: I’ve had lash extensions before but had a reaction. Can I have them again?
A: In short, no. The chances are we your allergic to one of the main ingredients which is in all lash extension glues. However we will always have a chat to see what type of symptoms you had, when they came on, if any other products where used etc. If we’re unsure we will invite you in for a patch test were we would place a few short lashes on the outer corners of each eyes to see if you had a reaction (They are not foul proof, as reactions can be due to overexposure but we can get an idea)
Q: I’ve had lash extensions before somewhere else. Do I need a patch test?
A: Yes, absolutely! We run an no patch test, no treatment policy. To protect our clients & ourselves.
Patch tests only take a few minutes and are valid for up to 6 months or if there are changes within your health. We do not allow you to sign waivers to skip a patch test.
Q: Do lash extensions damage my natural lashes?
A: No, wearing lash extensions do not damage your natural lashes. Poor application, not following your aftercare instructions, not attending regular maintenance appointments & removing them at home can cause damage to your lashes. Sometimes long term.
Q: Do they require much maintenance?
A: Yes, lash extensions are classed as a high maintenance treatment. You are expected to wash your lash extensions daily, with cleanser designed for extensions. Brushed daily. You can not rub your eyes (like you normally would) as this can tear out the extensions & natural lash.
