Soulful, creative pianist who sings sublimely - a very special ’Standards’ show:
Jonathan Gee is one of the most prolific and imaginative composer-pianists operating today, with a succession of ever-enticing bands and projects with world class line-ups from Europe and the USA. In addition to his own albums, he has also worked closely with Bobby Wellins, Claire Martin, Pharoah Sanders, Mark Murphy and Art Farmer. However, this show will feature his very fine vocal offering as well as his superb piano skills (listen to his album The Lions revisited to get a flavour of this). Jonathan will create gorgeous, classy music with bassist Paul Jefferies and drummer Noah Stone at this very special concert.
