So very sad to be sharing this news with you this afternoon. 💔

Fran, one of our most loved friends and clients peacefully passed away on Saturday.

Fran had been coming to see nicola every Saturday since we opened for her weekly blowdry and colours. Then for one of her wonderful daughters (Karen’s) wedding she started having her nails with Hayley. She was more than a client. We loved Fran dearly ❤️

A lot of you will have met her in the salon on a Saturday and I’m sure if you ever spoke to her you will agree with me in saying that she was the most beautiful person. So kind, thoughtful and funny.
We loved hearing stories about what she had got up to, her happy marriage with David, beloved cat and of course her children and grandchildren that meant the absolute world to her.

Fran will be missed by everyone who was lucky enough to meet her.
Sending so much love to her family ❤️❤️❤️

Writing this status with actual tears…….
It’s a long one so stick the kettle on……

We literally make ourselves ill squeezing people in over Christmas every single year; Yet people are still either not showing up or cancelling at the very last minute so we can’t fill their appointment.
How is that fair on us?

Both myself and Hayley keep our prices as low as possible- we barely make ends meet ourselves because we know times are hard for everyone.
But when someone (multiple this week and last) don’t show up or cancel last min we are making nothing!

This week alone we are down £300 between us!

Things will have to change in the new year because I can’t afford to keep turning up to work and not getting paid.
Deposits and cancellation fees will be mandatory! And there is going to be a slight price increase.

Fully understand that things come up and I’m really understanding.

I do love and appreciate all of your business and support.

I am so grateful for each and every one of you.

However (and I hate to be neggy) I would love to remind you all that if I’m not at work I don’t have my appointment book. So please try to be patient with me.

When I’m not at work I’m with my 3 beautiful children or trying to catch up on sleep 😂
And they keep me busier than any home colour from hell colour correction 😂

Now this isn’t aimed at any one of the 473 (12) people that have messaged me over the weekend and none work days/nights on my personal Facebook so please none of you take offence.
I know a lot of stylists are there at all times but I felt like I was forever saying just a minute with my head in my phone. And it’s just not fair.

The best way to get me is on my working days in the salon. If I’m not in hayley or vikki will always help. My appointment book is always there.
