Jason's very kind donation means that someone who can’t afford it can have a free shop!

We continue to challenge our fellow retailers and local community to go along to Down Town and donate anything they can, so someone doesn’t go without.

We operate ‘Quiet Hours’ everyday from 9-10am and 4-5pm where retailers lower or completely turn off their background music and staff don’t carry out any loud or obstructive tasks.

The quiet hours are supported by a number of designated quiet zones and staff members who carry backpack filled with sensory toys to help any shoppers who are feeling overwhelmed.

Our head gardener, Laurence, is looking for more volunteers to help care for the Sensory Garden and planters around the shopping centre. Whether you can join us on Tuesdays, Fridays, or both days, we’d love to have you!

As a volunteer, you’ll be working with a great team, taking part in community events like growing workshops and pumpkin carving, and making a real difference by helping to grow food that supports local families through Community Grocery Burnley 🌱🎃

Community Corner is a welcoming safe space for local community groups to utilise free of charge to hold an event, workshop or gathering.

The aim of the Community Corner is to promote wellbeing and creativity and welcome likeminded teachers, artists and facilitators to contribute to a diverse programme of activity with accessibility in mind. It is located on Chancery Walk (where you can find our Sensory Walkway).

The space is multi-functional and can be used for community meet ups, workshops, and much more. Get in touch with your specific needs and we will do our best to accommodate.

Michael visited 32 counties in Ireland as part of an amazing challenge to help raise money for TEAM RISE Project East Lancashire ❤️

He has raised an incredible £2,900.00 for the organization and crated awareness for the people who Team Rise supports and cares for. 🙌

Thank you to everyone that made this possible, Team Rise get no funding from the government or the local authorities, all the money raised is from the members and donations and fundraising events.
