Thank You

It’s National Volunteer Week and we would like to celebrate this by thanking all the Wellbeing Walks East Staffordshire volunteers for all their continued support over the last 21 years. We are so lucky to have a team of dedicated people who are happy to give up their time each week, rain, or shine to lead walks in the local community. In April they won a Special Recognition award, for their hard work and commitment WELL DONE you really deserve it.

ESBC will be working in partnership with Everyone active and SCC to plant out and start to create a new community garden at Shobnall Playing Fields, this Friday 22nd March at 10.30am.

The aim is to create a quiet and peaceful space where people can sit down and contemplate. The location is near to a footbridge, which has seen a number of incidents of su***de and It is hoped that the quiet garden may offer people an opportunity to sit and perhaps talk to other people, if they are feeling anxious or depressed.

Anyone who would like to come down, take part in some gardening and help to get this project started, please join ESBC this Friday at 10.30am, Shobnall Leisure Complex!
