If you would like to stay for Christmas we have availability due to a cancellation. (dates include 17th Dec - 26th Dec)

Just imagine opening presents by the roaring log burner, on beautiful chesterfield sofas, listening the the church bells ring!

We are based in the beautiful village of Woolpit in Suffolk. There are two amazing pubs within walking distance, a fabulously fun park, two local shops for all essentials, chip shop and bakery. What more could you want or need.

Rose Cottage is a stunning and beautiful holiday cottage available for vacations in the sleepy village of Woolpit, Suffolk, England. It was originally built in 1830 and was lovingly restored by Mick and Liz Meadows, several years ago and is decorated frequently to keep Rose Cottage looking its best.

We offer stays of various duration, throughout the year, including Christmas, New Years eve and Easter. Offering 5* housekeeping at all times. Booking can be made direct or via HomeAway. There is off street parking available for one car. Rose cottage can comfortably accommodate 6 people, in its 3 bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king size bed with beautiful views of the Woolpit church opposite. The twin bedroom is generously sized and also boasts amazing views. The En-suite bedroom at the rear of the property has a double bed, en-suite shower room and frames views of the village's quirky chimneys and crooked roof tops through the Juliet balcony. Plus the sleek master bathroom includes a glass surround waterfall shower and a luxuriously deep bath perfect for relaxing evenings after long country walks. We can also offer a travel cot should one be needed.

Rose cottage is home to many pieces of antique furniture, artwork and hand woven persian rugs. This all adds to the ambiance of its charm. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher and washing machine, electric hob, extractor fan, microwave, toaster, kettle and Nespresso pod coffee maker. We also provide tea, coffee, coffee pods, sugar and hot chocolate to all guests staying. A cute two seat bistro table snuggled in the corner of the kitchen is perfect for romantic brunches or cake laden afternoon teas.

The rear garden is a fabulous sun trap in the afternoon, accompanied by cast iron garden furniture all you need to do is fill up the ice bucket and relax. Alternatively the new tan leather chesterfield sofas make dozing in front of the wood burner a treat for any holiday, especially on those cold winters days after walking around one of many historical towns and villages located within 40 minutes drive.

All guests will receive a welcome hamper of locally sourced goodies, clean and ironed bed linens, clean fluffy towels and the ability to relax from the moment you walk through the door.
