Let’s talk about cluster lashes.. the easy diy lashes

I see lots of videos that make them sound so appealing .. quick & easy to apply .. they even have ones that last for 5+ days .. sounds great doesn’t it ? A full Russian looking set of lashes in under 10 minutes .. until you have no eyelashes left and they are forever your only option 🚩

You have around 120 eyelashes on each eye so every one of them lashes is growing at different speeds .. imagine sticking one cluster per 10-20 of your natural lashes 😣 it’s going to be pulling at your natural lashes causing significant damage especially if you are leaving them on when you sleep, shower, etc, etc. Not to mention the build up of dirt and oils ( this is actually making my eyes hurt thinking about it )

With individual lashes they are applied to each one of your lashes so when they are growing and your natural lash is shedding they will just drop out, hence the need for infills. You naturally loose up to 5 eyelashes a day so how are these lashes shedding naturally if they are stuck in a cluster ?

They are okay for a night out but long term wear is a big no from me 🙋🏻‍♀️

P.S - washing your lashes with soap and water in the shower/ bath/ sink doesn’t get in between the lashes .. invest in a lash shampoo and give them a good scrub with the lash shampoo brush to avoid a build up 🩷

One of my favourite treatments that make such a difference! Brow lamination doesn’t have to be big brushed up fluffy brows. This treatment enhances what you already have by manipulating the hairs into a neat brow. Great for if you have sparse eyebrows, gaps from over plucking, unruly hairs that go in all different directions, lack of shape or just to get that perfect brow!

𝑳𝒂𝒔𝒉 𝑳𝒊𝒇𝒕 ➰🏋️‍♀️
Another favourite. This treatment makes all the difference. Think of it as a perm but for your lashes. It’s a simple 3 step treatment with little aftercare. Enhances what you already have, even if you think you have no lashes! Chances are you just have very straight lashes

1-1 application where 1 lash extension is placed on 1 natural lash giving a natural look

3-8 fanned lashes applied to one natural lash creating a fluffy set of lashes

9-14 fanned lashes applied to one natural lash creating a full, fluffy set of lashes. For mega volume your natural lashes have to be in perfect condition. These are for the big, lash lovers 💪🏽

Can’t decide between classics and volumes ? Go with hybrids. A mix of classic & volume lashes creating a not so subtle not so out there set of lashes

𝑾 | 𝒀𝒀 | 𝑪𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒓 𝑳𝒂𝒔𝒉𝒆𝒔
New to the market ! These lashes are taking over. You heard it here first! So let me explain, a W lash is shaped like a W ( hence the name ) a YY is again shaped like a Y and a Clover lash is like a W and a YY lash combined. Confused yet 😵‍💫🤭 So basically if a classic lash isn’t enough and a volume is too much choose a YY for a bolder take on classics, choose a W if you lean more towards volume than classics, choose a Clover for a not quite volume but near enough! ( I hope I explained that well )

🤓 I go on about aftercare so much, but it really is so important. Here’s a few tips 👇🏽
-
🧴 You 𝒎𝒖𝒔𝒕 clean your lashes 𝑬𝑽𝑬𝑹𝒀𝑫𝑨𝒀 .. if you have oily skin I would suggest doing it twice a day

🧴 Use 𝒐𝒊𝒍 𝒇𝒓𝒆𝒆 products. Oils found in moisturisers, cleansers, sun cream & make up will effect the retention of your lashes. Oil breaks down the glue leading to quicker lash loss

🧴 Waterproof eyeliners are a big no, no. Waterproof products normally need an oil based remover 🚩

🧴 Please do not put mascara on your lashes.. you do not need to whilst you are wearing extensions. Traces of mascara or any eye make up left on your lashes will cause the lash glue to stick to the make up and not your natural lash - end result, lashes won’t last

🧴 Not cleaning your lashes throughly with a proper lash shampoo can cause a build up of dirt & oils on your lash line this can lead to infections & irritation
