Hi 👋 If you don't know me already, I'm Amelia the body, mind and soul behind Truth Non-Surgical Body & Wellness Clinic. I feel like I've never actually properly introduced myself (or the business), so here goes it...

My first introduction to the beauty and wellness industry was when I began studying Beauty Therapy at Suffolk College in 2005. As time progressed, I needed more of a challenge so I started university in 2009 studying Business Management at UCS. It wasn't until I was pregnant with my daughter in 2016 that I started considering my different options as a therapist and began researching non-surgical treatments and aesthetic procedures.

The clinic was registered as a limited company in 2020 and I have since gone on to do a plethora of further courses/qualifications, such as my L3 in Principles of Cosmetic Practice, L5 in Aesthetic Practice, Lymphatic Health and Post-Operative Cosmetic Care. As an Aesthetic Practitioner and Body Sculpting Specialist, I am also an NHS-approved Phlebotomist and run one of the only private blood clinics in Suffolk for Goodbody Health Group UK & EU. The last few years have been a whirlwind but I have loved every minute! My passion and vision have carried the business through to where it is today but it wouldn't be fair if I didn't mention how the clinic runs on the foundations of a family business, supported clinically by my mother (nurse practitioner) and brother (clinical educator) and father (investor).

This time last year I welcomed my second born to the world, the first few months were an unforeseen challenge (different to my first born), but I started my phased return back from maternity leave earlier this year. The brand new renovated clinic reopened in March and with new equipment and exciting new partnerships it's hard not to enjoy being back in the mix!

I am a kind-hearted person and an excellent listener. I love helping people and the clinic allows me to do exactly that! ♥️
