We’re suckers for crisp, salty, spritzy wine. Wine that doesn’t need too much thought, but that you can drink by the bucket load. Wine that you should always have to hand, for every imbibing eventuality. This is that wine. Bone dry with a slight spritz, it is vibrant and über refreshing. And oh boy, is it perfect for the sunshine!

Flint Vineyard is thriving! There are now over 26,000 vines covering 6 hectares and a state-of-the-art winery allows wine production at the highest level. The ‘return of a midnight bakkie’ suggested a follow up to an earlier Liberator release. Though this time, the winemaker’s (having previously remained completely anonymous with his face pixelated on the bottle) cover is blown and we know who to thank for the juice… Chris Alheit, we salute you!

We’re so stoked to have Evelyn join the team at casa VG! For some, she needs little introduction, having managed (arguably) Suffolk’s most loved dining institution , before making the move into the wine trade a couple of years ago. When pushed for an answer, Crémant of any origin is her go-to wine choice. Though yesterday it was Nebbiolo from Northern Italy. So, she’s got taste. Pop in to say hello ☺️
