The evenings are beginning to get cooler and I am going through my winter textiles, storage is filling up and so
I have very reluctantly decided to part with some of my stash of welsh wool blankets, this gorgeous little lot will be heading for tomorrow!

Just had to share these little 1940s gems, never come across the polka dot version of the tea strainer or a handled sharpening stone like this before, reluctantly surrendering to the shop today having realised that I just cant keep it all...

Just finished putting this beauty back together from my jumbled box of different chandeliers..has been time consuming to work out which pieces belong to which but nearly to the bottom of the box now with approx 2/3 more (crystals depending!!) out of 8 or 9 to go!!
May have a break and go back to my pile of mending as I have a pair of gorgeous vintage crochet blankets almost in pristine condition ready for the shop tomorrow!!

Too cool for skool!!1930s/40s blazer,
slightly scruffy but in my opinion this just adds to its appeal, still very wearable, amazing dressed up with a cute dress/tailored trousers or wear vintage Punk stylie with ripped jeans, and attitude, hitting the rails at tomorrow!!!

Got to love a vintage blanket, selling a few off in the shop from my personal collection as the cupboard is bursting!!

Some great original 60s pieces came in just yesterday at our little shop , have spent the 'downtime' this holiday season having great fun rummaging in my storerooms...so exciting to rediscover little collections I had forgotten I had!!!

Making new displays at our little shop ....love it when a new item of stock complements an older piece so perfectly you want to dance.....it can be like doing a good jigsaw every morning but when you love what you do it never feels too much like hard work!!!

Just cleaned up this stunning little mid century unit, was covered in paint and dust, so pleased with the way its turned out! Available from our little shop of gorgeous things tomorrow along with this fab pair of black bronze Bodrul Khalique figures!!!

We do love a basket in our little shop, the warmth of colour, natural materials and variety of possible form and shape makes wicker such a versatile material.
Useful and beautiful storage or the best sustainable shopper, basket weaving is one of the worlds most ancient craft forms, recognisable to humans throughout history and currently enjoying a bit of an interiors resurgence.....will stop going on now....can you feel the ❤️ ??!!!

Seems a bit mad to be turning my mind to sorting winter stock while the sun is shining and I am still in my summer dresses!!!

Love it or hate it? Large majolica Swan cabbageware 'cauliflower' tureen.... personally its just so kitsch I love it....!!!
