Laura’s beautiful bridal bouquet. No explanation needed just simply beautiful

The first of this weeks bridal bouquet was full of beautiful blousy roses. They smelt absolutely amazing

The showstopper for last weekends wedding was the full moon gate arch which was the backdrop for the ceremony and then it was moved to behind the top table to create a real wow factor.

Urn Arrangements are a great use of budget at your wedding as they can be easily moved around from the ceremony to your reception

I had a great time and got to work with some really lovely ladies thank you for a brilliant few days

Tall centrepiece’s really do make such an impact. Mixing high and low centre’s is a great way to have the impact and also to keep costs down

This week is mostly being used to plan lots of lovely weddings for this year and next. One thing I really recommend to my Bride and Grooms is it’s better to have one large statement piece rather than a few small pieces #

January is a quiet month mainly involving consultations and planning so apologies for the silence

Christmas is not about having the best looking tree, the most expensive wreath on your door, visiting the most authentic Santa or matching Christmas pajamas…
Christmas is a feeling, a memory of the games you play as a family, all sitting round a table eating together, having fun.

It’s hard sometimes not to get caught up in the commercial pressure that has become Christmas so today I took it right back to basics, foraged some Willow and some foliage and made something I loved, just for me. Just to bring myself back to basics too.

Today after a hectic few months I had a day for me. I took time out to have a facial and I took my dogs on a long walk.
I love Autumn and just find all the colours so inspiring. So I foraged some beautiful autumn leaves, mainly from the ground and a few snips from low hanging branches and went back to my workshop to get creative.

It amazes me what you can do a few bit of foliage found on a walk.
So what ever you have planned this weekend, why not take a walk into nature and see if you can get inspired to make something creative yourself.

Because everyone needs a dried autumn wreath… right?!
