Loopy Lisa's Fudge
Making mouthwatering, crumbly, traditional fudge and now dabbling in Belgian Chocolate too!!
Loopy Lisa is Lisa Lane and thanks to the old 'virus that shall not be named', the fudge kitchen has now moved back home, to Lisa's own kitchen! The recipes are adapted from a traditional Women’s Institute template, using all butter and evaporated milk and only real flavours – no preservatives or artificial flavours are used. There is no difference between the ways in which Lisa’s fudges are made
Looking forward to being back at Brancepeth in a few weeks time!!

So fudge lovers, this is happening next week…..
On a little jaunt out with Loopy Mam to pick up a Facebook purchase (as you do!) and stumbled across this fabulous shop and the lovely Della. And she does mail order too…
Naturally Della is also a fudge lover 🤭
We have at Loopy HQ!! Would be exciting if I wasn’t making fudge and needing to go out again this afternoon to pick my little darlings up!!

Well, after and absolutely stonking weekend at Brancepeth Castle and Ulverston's Dickensian Christmas Festival we are all but wiped out!! Today is all about making Loopy Lisa Advent calendars, they will only be available on the website for the next couple of hours, so there is still time to secure yours for this year!!
This weekend we are at the fabulous Barney Farmers Market and Raby Castle, so a busy week ahead restocking!! Photo is of some very tasty mince pies that Connie made at Baking Club with the lovely Carly at last week
It certainly was a busy day yesterday, record number of visitors would explain the huge dent in fudge stocks!! Let’s do it all again today!!
Meanwhile, Loopy Mam is back at Brancepeth Castle today, but she too had taken a big dent in fudge stocks!! It’s going to be another busy week restocking (that’s code for lots of fudging and very long days!!)
After a record breaking number of visitors yesterday we are doing it all again today!
Stalls will be open around 9am with entertainment starting at 10.30am. Programmes are available around town or at the festival control centre at the bottom of Theatre Street next to the Theatre Royal. All details including a map are here on our website www.dickensianfestival.co.uk
The weather may not be quite as kind as yesterday but we can all still have a fabulous day.
The fudge will definitely be fresh at Brancepeth Castle for their Christmas Fair starting tomorrow!!
Still time to order your fudge advent calendars!! Containing a whopping 1.25kg of fudge, a different flavour every day and plenty to share among the family each day. Order on the website www.loopylisasfudge.co.uk or drop me a message, they are £38, plus postage if needed

Please come along and support the event!
It’s today, sadly, due to a set of circumstances I had no control over, we won’t be there today ☹️ I’d made all the arrangements for Bob and Margaret to cover for me, made the fudge, was planning to pull an all-nighter before departing on holiday to get it packed and make some Mugins, only to be thwarted by a power cut!!! It lasted for 10.5 hours and sadly I need power for the commercial scales and label printer!! I’m very sorry to let you down, Loopy Mam will be there in December and if you desperately can’t wait that long, drop me a message and I’ll sort you out. We’re flying back today after a lovely and relaxing week in the sun and tomorrow, once I’ve sorted the fudge out, I’ll be at Witton le Wear Christmas Fair

Fudge advent calendars are live on the website!! Delivery will be the last week in November, however, it would help my organisation massively if you were to order sooner 🤭

Fabulously excited to be working with this fellow local business on their Christmas offer
We’re at today and tomorrow for their Seasonal Market, so many flavours, including two new ones!! The event is free entry, but you can also buy tickets to go into the grounds and Castle.
Having a little jaunt out with my darlings….just had to bring them here and show them where Mammy’s wares go to!!
today! You will probably notice that I’m not there….as this is my current view!! Don’t worry though folks, the lovely Bob and Margaret from Barton Farm will be there to satisfy your fudgey needs!
We’re at today for the seasonal market. Simba dog has gone to Teesdale Pet Sitters to see how he likes it there - hopefully better than he liked the stall structure when we set up!! Here again tomorrow, he’d better like it by then!!
