Looking forward to coming back to the Makers market , sharing stories of textiles and making things. It’s an exciting thing to do as we have many types of cloth and trimmings that we would like to sell.

We create modern day clothes inspired by history. The formal way of dressing but worn informally, slightly dandyish slightly theoretical.

Yesterday returned to the studio to see the very limited edition of the summer shirt we worked together on. It was such a joy to start with nothing and end with this. It can be an awkward moment when someone tries something on and it just doesn’t work. That wasn’t happening , it looked so good 😊. We have 3 pieces available. The pocket Ear flap is a unique SPECIAL detail for Workhouse. As too the wide Contrast bar tacks in orange. The other great detail is the contrast Ecru rolled edge on the inside front placket and pocket.

Two outer lower pockets and a top welt.

A inner patch pocket and a NEW zip inside pocket ideal to keep wallets and documents safe.

Thank you all so much for making today so much fun. It’s been another incredible day selling our off cuts and small lengths of cloth. We have also hatched new plans to develop a Interior design and home ware range. It will be a small range but will continue the design ethos and look of Workhouse England
