OC Dan Fisher (1990-1995), Director of Strategy at the Royal National Institute for Blind People, hosted a Q&A with the Lower Sixth Aiming Higher group last week. He shared his experience of university, recent information on Oxford admissions, tips on how to pick a degree course and how distinctive the collegiate universities are in their approach.
Students had the opportunity to quiz Dan on his career and ask insightful questions about applying critical thinking to their current subjects. Thank you to Dan, OC and St Edmund Hall, Oxford alum, for sharing his expertise and time with our current cohort.
🧪 The countdown is on for the official opening of our renovated Prep Science labs! Join us on Thursday 10 October at 15:00, to see the incredible impact of these developments which were made possible by our generous Old Culfordian donors.

The Culford Foundation
The Culford Foundation has two aims. Firstly, we help former pupils stay in touch with classmates and colleagues. This we achieve through our regular events and communications to Old Culfordians, East Anglian pupils and friends of Culford.
Our second aim is friend-raising and fundraising for Culford School. Since The Foundation’s creation in 2000 it has raised significant funds for Culford’s Scholarships and Bursaries, allowing a new generation of children to benefit from a Culford School education. The Foundation has also raised funds for vital works at the School, including the building of the new Library which opened in 2015 and the Art Department'sstunning Foundation Gallery.
The Campaign for Culford
In June 2013, The Foundation launched The Campaign for Culford, a major fundraising initiative in support of Culford’s new library and other development projects.
